Another year of SEMA and as usual a great show. This year made the trip with my 2 brothers. This is the first time we've done just a boys trip. So time spent together was very special!

Arrived Wednesday afternoon and a short limo ride to the Venetian this time. This was the first time staying at the Venetian side in over 10 years. We usually are in the Palazzo tower. But my host could only get a large suite (Rialto) at the Venetian, due to SEMA.


Headed to the Venetian HL room to try PB and TD. No such luck! Most of you know I start off in the Palazzo HL with Pink Diamond and $10 WOF. Should have started there! @louseyatcraps where were you when I needed you? Your my lucky charm in Palazzo HL

Off to dinner at GR Steak at Paris

A lot of food for 3. But we still had enough room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Brown Butter Ice Cream



After dinner the Paris HL room was right outside. Could just keep walking!

Continued my downward spiral in Venetian HL. And decided to change things up a bit. Why not try some bad pay table VP

My second Royal in 1 month! Both on quarters. I might get brave one day and move up to dollars

Next day is all day at SEMA. To be continued!

 

Looks like we had hoodies on! If those were real hoods, I'm not sure they would have let us in the hotel!

Thanks. There's always SEMA next year. Security was there and checking every badge. Apparently there were about 10k fake ones sold on eBay.

 

Probably not stay on the Venetian side again. IMO it's to loud, crowded and to much walking. Only reason I stayed on that side was for the large suite that the Palazzo doesn't have.

On my last night I left the Venetian HL on my way to bed and found myself at the Palazzo elevator bank. Then I realized I was in the Venetian tower!

What's so funny about that, is that I wasn't even drinking! Just used to going that way. Good thing I didn't go up the elevator, as they always give me the same room on the same floor for the past 4 years!

The Palazzo casino is about 40% under construction. The whole front part in the middle as you enter from restaurant row is temp walled off.

 

SEMA first day for us! Only the best of the best cars. Didn't take a lot of pics.

Gambling on the second night was a complete disaster. I guess variance caught up to me. Slots were terrible. Baccarat was a disaster. BJ I got all the bust cards. Only hit of the night was on PB. Was so excited forgot to take a pic until I Tito out


Shut it down fairly early as we walked a lot and was exhausted.

Friday would be the last day for SEMA so wanted to get an early start.

 

Dinner on Thursday night was at Bachannal Buffet. Clients wanted a good buffet and I think this now beats Wynn Buffet!
