Mine was about half gambling and half spend. I'm probably the Cosmo's favorite type of player.

I don't want a host and I never ask for anything extra comped off the backend.

I just prefer it that way. I never feel pressured to gamble and I know if I had a host I'd feel more pressure.

I believe that is correct. it was a few years ago, but I think on my first trip to Cosmo, I made Sterling, which gave me 1 tier night. On my next stay, I used the tier night combined with a 4 night offer to make a 5 night stay.

On that stay, I reached Gold and got 2 more tier nights.

I always use my tier nights on the first stay after they're available, so that I don't lose them in a situation where for some reason I can't make a 2nd trip within my 365 day player year.

We like to tack them onto a trip if our flight is late in the evening. Not having to rush to pack in the morning is great. Sleep in if hungover or you’ve been losing.

My Identity point earnings are pretty evenly distributed, usually about half from gaming and the other half from resort spending.

As others have mentioned, the 2 comp nights and companion nights are definitely a major benefit of Gold tier. Lately I've been receiving 3 comp night offers from Cosmo, and when I visit I usually stay 5-7 nights, so having two bonus Identity nights available that I can tack on to the end of a comp offer are really nice to have. It's also nice to be able to have 2 annual companion nights that I can share with with family or friends, although there do tend to be more blackout date limitations for the companion nights.

One thing I've found recently is that while my 3 night comp offers from Cosmo are extremely flexible (in my case, there isn't a single blackout date for my current March/April or May/June offers), the "casino rate" offerings unfortunately aren't a hefty discount from the rack rates. In planning my trip for May, there were a couple of nights that showed a rack rate of around $600, and the casino rates offered were around $500, so the discount wasn't all that much. Fortunately, I was able to book my 3 night comp offer for the 3 most expensive consecutive nights, then I added on a couple of nights at casino rate at a much more reasonable rate of around $160 / night for a fountain view studio.

Same experience here, the casino rate usually isn’t too much of a discount. Luckily our offers are now for 4 nights. Is there any food or Freeplay included in your offers?

For me, the freeplay and food credits tend to be pretty minimal. The offer I booked for May, for example, has $25 Identity play and $50 dining credit. Not much, but a nice bonus nonetheless. For me, the comped nights are the most valuable part of the offers, and any Identity play or dining credit it just icing on the cake. When I can take advantage of a comped fountain view terrace studio with essentially no blackout dates and on nights that are otherwise priced at $500 - $600, that's definitely the most valuable part of my offers.
