    Hi All,

In May 2009 I bought a new Ford F-150. I did have a nice 2001 Ford XLT Lariat prior to 2009. My 2009 does not have all the bells and whistles that the 2001 Lariat had. I have to go with a F-150 as I am tall at 6'10" and it is the only vehicle that I can maneauver safely, and just barely... It has only 23K miles as I use it for doctor visits and grocery shopping.... Pretty exciting stuff...

Ford trucks are made to last... I'm debating selling the truck and getting new, but I'd rater keep my current truck and not dip into my savings for a new one.... Do you think that my F-150 (well maintained) can last around 20 total years? That would mean 10 more additional years.. It rides like a new Cadillac now.......

200k-300k miles on an F150 isn't that unusual. If it's well maintained and low miles like yours I don't think another 10 years is unrealistic at all.

I see some crazy low leases on pickups. I've been toying with the idea of replacing my Malibu with an F150 but I'm not sure. I'll probably just wait until it dies, and then maybe they'll be a Raptor I can actually afford

It sure should! I don't care what brand of car it is, it's all about the maintenance! If you take care of it, it should take care of you.

Ugh, trying to negotiate for a 2018 Mazda cx 5 right now. Not a lease, but a trade and purchase. My husband drives too much for a lease. If I don't have any luck, I may contact Packer to help me out!

Hey Packer do you know what the residuals are running on BMW X1's for 36 month leases. What about MF from BMW financial.
Still about 6 months out from end of lease on Mazda CX5 grand touring, wife wants to move up to something in the luxury compact SUV that
has as much cargo space as Mazda.

We got a grand touring without the heads up display package.

Had a 2013 grand touring to trade. They gave us 6500 for that. Then we paid 21,515 cash for the rest. TTL was about 1650 and was included in that.

    Hi there Skyler,
Looks like you got a 32k ish msrp car for 28k ish..
Looking at just those facts it looks like you did great.

BUT ONLY 6K FOR THE TRADE??? Again, me looking at this with ZERO knowledge on condition, miles etc, your 2013 cx5 gt was "worth"....... Well, I don't want to say but more than 6k by far!!!

Don't look back and enjoy your new car. The CX5 is an awesone car! Next time call me lol...

The one we traded had 138,000 miles, some hail damage and windshield chip, so we were pretty happy with getting 6500! Could have gotten more with a private sale probably, but I didn't want to hassle with that.

Glad you said that. Our buy out on lease for 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring FWD is $14,500, So I think we may end up with a small amount of trade equity
based on what I am seeing residuals coming in at. We are 6 months out on the lease now, starting to look around. Wife wants to trade up

Yeah, he's a sales rep with a big territory, so his cars really get a beating. I have to say, this was one of the best cars we've ever had. So hoping the same goes for the new one.
