    A couple dispatches from today:
    • Cosmo is almost fully open. Holstein's seems to have a somewhat limited menu, Momofuku is still not around, but almost all of the bars, restaurants (some with restricted hours, like Milos being dinner-only apparently), and retail is open. As of 10:15am, it was about as you'd expect on a Thursday morning, which I'll take as progress.
    • Cosmo bars require you to check in with a hostess for seating.
    • No plexiglass at Cosmo that I saw, other than in front of desks and podiums (podia?).
    • Crystals is nominally open for pedestrian traffic, but while you can get in from the Cosmo skybridge, you can't get out. None of the stores are open, and most are still emptied out. However, the restaurants (Cucina, Mastro's, and Starbucks) are open.
    • Crystals also has designated entry/exit doors, and stickers on the floor directing people to stand on one side or the other.
    • Bellagio is open and very busy.
EDIT: I can now say from personal experience that if you go to pull $200 from your money clip to play blackjack, and rip both bills in half in the process, you're an idiot. Don't be like me.

What about operations at the Cosmo sports book bar?

Bar was occupied as of about 10:30am. Not a ton to watch on the big screens, but it was staffed and people were playing.

Thanks for the update . Does the Cosmo have every second slot machine turned off or did they just remove chairs?

Get some tape for those bills! Doh!

If you can't use the skybridge to return from Crystals to Cosmo, what would be the quickest way then?

A little of both, based on my non-scientific survey. Most machines appeared to be on, but chair inventory definitely seemed reduced.

The Cosmo update is much appreciated!! Can’t wait to get back there in a couple weeks. At the Crystals, was there any signage or anything to indicate when stores might be reopening?

No signage per se. They do now have entry/exit signs for certain doors, lots of floor signage, and guards around. I can also share that friends have been able to make appointments at places like Hermes, though a lot of places have been cleared out and I don't see much movement. I don't see window shopping coming back any time soon.

Thanks for the updates! Did the HL bartop VP machines appear to all be on, too? Just some missing chairs maybe?

Honestly did not see. The sportsbooks and Chandelier bartops were on, but a bit inconsistent about spacing. Same for the main slots.

People probably moved chairs. That's the drawback about leaving every unit on.

I actually think leaving all machine on is a good thing... if you are with someone no reason you can't play next to each other.

It depends on where you're going to/from. You can still use the skybridge, there are just a lot of stairs. You have to go up to the bridge, in the direction of Crystals over Harmon, and then back down. If you want to continue south, you get to enjoy more stairs. You can also head east to Harmon Corner, though that Walgreens still has really limited hours.

If I had to speculate, most of the machines are leased and incur servicing costs. So if I'm a company conscious of those things, I'd probably want to just pull the machines rather than keep them on the floor and operational, which I think is what El Cortez did. But at least at Cosmo, almost everything was on, and there were bunch of new-looking machines (including some HD ones from Incredible Technologies, which didn't really appeal to me because I'm not a slot player, but looked great).
