Anyone getting better comps during the pandemic?

Just wondering if anyone with M Life is getting better or additional comps vs the norm since we're still in a pandemic and less people are going to Vegas? You'd think they'd waive the resort fees or something to entice more gamblers.

A good number of people (here and beyond) have been reporting getting massively-increased offers starting from the February offer refresh. While my offers did get better in that timeframe, it was not a massive improvement. Thus, I am going to attribute the better offers to the drop-off from my "permanent record" (based solely on the passing of time) of smaller, less savvy play with MGM in the Vegas market. That is probably the case for most other people, too.

In other MGM markets in the US, my offers seem to have improved -- with the best improvement being at Borgata. No FP or RC, but at least I can way more often get a suite comped. I've never even been to Atlantic City. I also saw an improvement in my MGM National Harbor comped room selection. Not getting weekends comped (just discounted), but I do get most M-Th showing as comped if it's within the next 4-5 weeks. (That used to be a local for me, and I haven't visited MGMNH since July 2018).

Yeah. Never been to Biloxi and got an offer for 50 bucks airfare and 4 nights plus 50 bucks freeplay. Last time I gambled at an M Life resort was the bellagio in like 2018 or something. Was excited to see that kind of offer.

From my local it’s close to the same as before relative to my play.

As for vegas, yes I feel like they’re being a little more aggressive but not substantially. Same number of nights but a slight bump in FP and food credit.

I have been getting some very nice offers from the Cosmo (with an extra 1-2 night bump up from my normal offers) but unfortunately unable to take advantage of them due to the ongoing border closure. Hopefully the well doesn't go dry.

Yes, My MLife offers are the best I have seen in years, even though I mostly wrote them off, as I shifted my play to other clubs over the past 3 or so years.

My Treasure Island comps went up as soon as they reopened their casino last year. While they haven't increased since that modest bump, that haven't decreased either.

I also have had casinos I haven't played/stayed at in years suddenly send me offers again. I was to see a Venetian email last summer.

With my great Mlife offer, that someone else mentioned above too, you had to book that within 30 days. It was good for the year, but I think they were fishing to see just how many players they could hook. And that should allow them to forecast some in the coming months.

If all you hear is to be believed. With 20% of the US already getting at least 1 vaccine shot. And 10% being fully vaccinated. Travel is already up, and should continue to keep climbing every month as more and more people feel confident enough to vacation once more.

And you have a LOT of pent up demand for vacations right now. I cant see these super offers sticking around for the entire year, and that is why clubs like Mlife hung theirs out there in Feb, to be booked before March started.

Vegas should be humming once more come summer I think.

I don't really see any better offers.
For Treasure Island, my offers are crap now, essential no offer compared to what I used to get.
The trend started before the pandemic, though. But they're definitely not trying to lure me back during COVID.

    Yes!

Our offer for 5 comped nights Dec 29 - Jan 3 @ Bellagio with good FP & RC after a 2 year absence caught our attention :)

Same with me. My ti offers took a dump for no reason. I ALWAYS play the same games (all slots) for the same coin-in. I had their system cracked for a few years, knowing what to expect for my play. I never cheated them. Not once.

Routinely, it would be a suite upgrade and $450. Sometimes, an early booking bonus for another $100. If not for the free play, they would give me a little less, if I also came in for a slot tournament. IE, $300 in free play plus entry which was worth $100 at the lowest rung.

Now? I get like $300 in free play. And if their is a tournament, its only like $150 plus that. Still get the suite upgrade, but now that is my early booking perk VS it being guaranteed, and $100 being the early perk.

And also mine came down before the pandemic. Looking at what I saved, it was summer of 2019 when the shit hit the fan with them. I did ask my host earlier this year, what gives. Back when Cosmo had briefly crapped on my offers as well. She said they did go through a correcting cycle for some players. But all she could do, was dick around with my room class. And not add any more free play for me.

Needless to say, I haven't been back to ti since. And I have no plans of going back unless they bump me back up. You don't go to Treasure Island because its the best casino resort in Vegas. You go for the value. And if that value isn't there...

Hell, I guess Circus Circus wasn't going to pay for itself! They needed my comp money to pay for them buying that shit hole.
