    So somehow I completely missed the welcome to Vegas sign...regardless... Vegas, here we are....

    Asked for a Beljagio view... she very kindly gave us a very nice view...and a King something...nice view!!!

    So....a bit of a first evening recap...perfetct room...so far we havent heard a peep of room noise...nice view..but that darn screen banner ad sorta takes away a bit..MrsDRP asked about a " fountain view"..without a pre-bribe...she was very accomodating..yes, we tipped after...

    I was thrilled to see that Caesars has finnally come to senses and realized we are huge assets...our new host left us a ton of snacks and such...[​IMG]
    Oh crap...MrsDRP just ruined my fantasy saying "I brought all that stuff Dumbass"..oh well, it was fun while it lasted

    No coffee pot in our room which sorta sucks

    Con't... I'm fresh back from getting .25 worth of coffee for$5.00... ooops..I'm not a big Starbucks advocate..[​IMG]

    We were tired and hungry upon arrival so we just went to Cafe Hollywood...typical cafe fare...[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Shared Cheese artichoke dip....and king poa....it was relatively quick ...and adequate..

    Trinkets ready...we headed out for first gambol...

    My lucky PBR cap, my lucky gold dollar, my lucky toe shark....and when you really suck at gambling...a 'lucky' Euro ...

    Got in about 2 1/2 hours of craps ...

    First table in for $400, out for $485...I had one decent roll of 3 points...everyone left later so I moved...in second for 310...I got down to 0, went to pocket for $10... fellow had a mini heater and cashed out for 305 as it was almost 9:00 - close to ray romano/spade at 10, and MrsDRP was MIA...

    note..I noticed the stick person fiddling with this little circle of lights built into the table before each roll..about a 2" diameter circle of small LED lights..I asked..she said it's to accurately track how many rolls you get credit for....said it had been in place "a little while"... anyone else seen that???

    Finally found MrsDRP in the room...she played slots an hour or so...cashed out even...

    So we really enjoyed the show...[​IMG]

    Of course no pics during...the opening guy was the fellow who played one ofRay's friends ...forget his name but he was very good...Spade- he was very good ...MrsDRP thought he was as good as Romano, but I liked Romano the best..show was a little over an hour and a half..at the end Ray and David both came out and took questions..excellent show overall in our opinion..

    Apparantly Mr Trump was in town yesterday visiting and speaking at the Venetian...tonight are the country music awards...

    There appears to be a fair sized fire somewhere beyond the Aria...

    Giada brunch this AM...first day a relative sucess..lonnnnng day..but good flights and we didnt lose our days BR...MrsDRP wasnt feeling quite up to par so we called it a night after the show...tbc

    Congrats on breaking even with the gambol so far...that is always a win in my book!

    Glad to hear that you both enjoyed the show last night! Tonight is Carrot Top... I hope Mrs DRP is feeling better today, so y'all can laugh yourselves silly!!
    I really wanted to see Jim Gaffigan, but with his show being at Caesars Palace in their humongous theater, we prob would only be able to actually see him on a big screen... I can do that at home, so we said "nah".

    Looking forward to your Giada brunch review... love all of your pics (well, that sink drain pic was a bit odd, haha)!
    I'm enjoying your report and appreciate the updates, as it can be a pain typing it all up on your phone when you're not used to it!

    Best of luck today on the gambol, too!!
