This is to be used as a tool. This is great info here at least four me. I'm able to see where I'm winning and losing and where I need to make adjustments. Notice the theo. This is from a 3 1/2 day trip beginning of last year. I'm receiving these reports from various places due to, well it doesn't matter. I have more of these from 2014, 15 and 16 from other houses but they are all about the same. Theo ranging from 6k to 26k.. I also have cage deposits and withdrawals. Very interesting for me to see the exact times of everything and try to remember why and what my reasoning behind everything was if any..

I blacked out my name, player number, hotel/casino info, times and any other personal information. Again, it isn't about me this is for us to learn the numbers. Really no surprises though.

You can see what game i play where it says "table type". As always the bigger play is craps. Lots of hit and runs with a max of 1 hour sessions. I also limit my losses by walking. All serious craps sessions play is the don't with odds. I trained myself to only play craps but apparently I wasn't disciplined enough to stay away from bj this trip. I hate that game! I need to stick to my plan and only play craps or limit myself to 500 losses at bj. I try to treat it like a business when at the table and only focused on winning. I know, good luck with that but it has worked for me. Only three trips last year I think with two of them having a tr. Looks like sadly zero this year. Unless I sneak away lol.
    Enjoy..[IMG]

Here is the story. Had to edit because I just found this..

So I'm going over all this info casinos sent me. There is another sheet with deposits and withdrawals for the year. At one property the sheet didn't balance. So I went over it ten times.. Here's what I found.
Making up the days.. On fri, sat, sun and Monday all was correct. I left monday afternoon. However It says I made a deposit of 50k on that following Thursday. What? Now this was a year or so ago. So I have an extra 50k on deposit right now! What would you do? What do you think I'm doing? Holy crap BATMAN!

Here you go... Just added this.

I added play form another casino I play at for you all. This is for you to know how theo is calculated. I'm sure tring can put it into averages for us if needed. There is a lot more info on this sheet but due to privacy and I don't want anyone to get in trouble who might have given this to me I left it out.
On this sheet it shows lifetime totals, pass through totals and even shows info when I didn't give a card to them believe it or not. The shown info is only a fraction of play in late 2015. I stayed there 14 times in 2015.

Thanks for sharing- I think it's time well spent to stop and really analyze your play from time to time!

I recently had taken a look at my play given BR, win/loss and Theo generated. The big takeaway I had from it was regarding comps. I know for my play level the comp rooms are a given, but was always excited to see what the attached free play would be with my offers. I know the bigger it was, the more excited I was to book the next trip and somehow felt it really was what was giving added "value" in rationalizing trip BR. Don't feel that way at all anymore. As I went through the numbers, it was pretty astounding how much the THEO had to fluctuate to make the free play portion move, up or down! Literally thousands in play through to move it a couple hundred. Now I find the greatest value in the room being covered and no longer motivated to see the free play portion maintain or grow. With slots it's all luck and obviously happy when the games are playing that help those numbers, but on a losing trip I'm not feeling the least bit concerned about the damage to my offers. Took a while for me to really get that understanding- but glad I took the time to really see it!

The problem is that the casino won't tell you and the thresholds occasionally get adjusted, but to maximize comps, the main goal is to create the minimum theo possible to earn a particular level of comps. And the worst thing possible is playing just below the threshold of a new comp level.

Absolutely rather have "other stuff" than a few hundred in free play. Bigger room if needed, extra room, a lot more food, massage, cabana, golf, golf tournaments, comped retail, wine, concert, fight, free roll in tournaments and whatever else. if you get zero free play but 10k (retail prices) in comps is it worth it? To me yes provided you don't lose more than about 9k ish. Just a numbers game VC. I say work their own system for all you can without being a mooch.. Although that's much harder to do these days.

Agreed, I think in my case all this play is still staying within a certain band threshold. Fingers crossed I don't have a super crappy trip and bottom out, lol! Despite my best efforts during some of those trips I just couldn't get that needle to move much on the free play increasing, so I GIVE UP!!!!!

Thanks for sharing this @PACKER . Aria and MGM both use a factor of .78 in calculating Theo for baccarat (avg. bet x time x.78). Each of your baccarat games on this trip are exactly at .78.

What should be of interest to baccarat players is that in recent trips, I have found the Cosmo rate to be right around .45 to .50. The Caesar's rate is all over the place depending on the supervisor, but I had several trips at Caesar's last year where the rate was only .25.

So,,,,,,, I did say I left before that deposit. They unfortunately made a mistake. It isn't my money. With my luck lately I would have gone there to take it out and once I did they would have taken me away in cuffs. So alas, back to square one.. I'm too honest and contacted them when I found that.

Did you contact them? Curious to know how they respond, 50k is a lot for them to accidentally credit to someone!

Yup - and MGM properties use a factor of .525 (70 hands/hr x .75% HA) in calculating Theo for Blackjack. Each of your BJ games on this trip are exactly at .525.

The Caesars/CET rate for me on Blackjack has been consistent at .70%

    Excellent info! Easy to extrapolate.

So craps you were getting ~$1.25 per $100 bet per minute in theo. And $1.30 per $100 bet per minute at bacc.

Very useful information. A key point is to make sure that your average bet is being correctly reported. On my recent mammoth trip to Vegas, I know that my average bet on the craps table at the casino I was staying at was between $200-250. Most supervisors rated me $50-75...I shit you not. Three supervisors at the pit called the numbers up as they couldn't believe I was getting screwed from incorrect rating play. Now...I played about 160 hours in total on my trip. The average bet has a massive influence on my comps for those hours. I went mad when I found out and spoke to the shift managers. They said they would sort out the ratings in future for all players, but how does that make me feel, knowing that for years my rating was always screwed up by playing mostly at that location. I was still comped about 25% of my losses as it works out. However, the comp level based on Theo should have been way higher, not just this year but all previous years. This stuff matters and I'm now likely to stay at MGM next year for the first time.
