I hope this is the place to ask this, does anyone have any info on when/if Aria plans to reopen their Buffet?
We've always liked their buffet for breakfast.
I've seen so many contrasting/aged reports I can't tell what is real

I don't think they know yet. There's definitely not been any activity there.

No words on Aria buffet yet as of today. But,

looks like MGM will permanently closed Mirage Buffet.

I was walking through Aria yesterday with the intention of a nice buffet brunch. I was so disappointed to see it all boarded up. Presumably gone for good as if looked as though they were just going to put in a bunch of different restaurants etc. I was forced into the Excalibur buffet instead. Not particularly comparable:-(

It's been closed for more than two years now, I'm not sure what led you to go over there with the expectation that it'd be open...

BTW, last buffet I had was Aria Nov 2019 and it was really good. Way better than expected; too bad they’re not reopening it.

OMG the Circus Circus buffet is open. I'm not sure I can survive a second visit, and would strongly recommend that nobody risk surviving their first.

Wynn was pretty good the one time we tried it (pre-COVID). Bellagio's (again pre-COVID) was ok, not as good as Wynn in our opinion.

Bacchanal for the win! I wish they'd start serving breakfast again.

I thought I read somewhere they don’t intend on opening it again….

They do not. There are walls up around it now. The staff have been saying for well over a year now that they'd heard it wouldn't open, but you know how much stock I put in staff rumors. Putting walls up, though, is a big step. And I think it's been gone from the website for a while.
