Mrs. Tesla and I are staying at the Sky Suites the week of October 4th. We've stayed at the Aria a few times before this trip, but this is our first time in the Sky Suites. We don't want to come off like a couple-a-rubes, so I thought I'd ask the pros here some questions. Please feel free to add any other advice or tips.

BTW: we're both fully vaccinated, and have no issue with respecting the indoor mask mandate.

    - How much do we tip the driver for the airport pickup and dropoff rides?

    - Same question about housekeeping: $5 per visit should be cool yeah? I assume we get two housekeeping visits a day, daytime cleaning and evening turn-down service.

    - Similar question about the concierge: what can they do for us (e.g. set up reservations at the spa or for dining) and how much should we tip if we ask them to do stuff?

    - Is it true we can get food from any of the Aria restaurants delivered to the suite? If yes do they charge something exorbitant? We might be ok paying big $ (if we're hiding out from crowds or nursing hangovers), but would prefer to know what we're getting into ahead of time.

    - We're hoping (counting on?) the Sky Suites pool will be open, since we plan to be out there a lot assuming the weather stays hot. Mrs. Tesla has a local friend who will meet up with us for the day. Can she hang out with us at the pool if we walk her in, or are they strict about guests only?

    - Have all the Sky Suites been renovated by now, and if not is there something we can do (ask for a particular floor, $20 trick) to better our odds of getting a renovated one? We will be arriving in Vegas early in the day so maybe that will help a bit.

Thanks for any responses! We'll be there Oct 4-8 and I'll maintain a (mostly) live trip report. :)

I will do my best to answer each question:

*Tip whatever you are comfortable. For two people, I typically tip twenty bucks.

*For housekeeping $5 to $20 depending on the size of your skysuite

*I have never used the concierge, so I cannot help you there

*I have never heard that about food delivery at the Skysuites. I know the Skylofts at MGM Grand do it and I think there is a small additional service charge, but I have never paid enough attention to the receipts they give me when they bring the food. If they are doing delivery at the Skysuites, i would love to know as I will be there again in December!

*I don't know the exact policy on guests at the sky pool, but I have brought them in the past. If its one person and they walk in at the same time you do, you're probably ok

*I last stayed there this past summer in a pano skysuite and it was not renovated. I don't know if any have been

    Have fun

I was in a corner tower a few days ago. Maybe similar. No restaurant delivery to rooms. $100 min room service for white cloth table. Under $100 is in a bag.
    Housekeeping is $10 a day.
I tip drivers $50 but most typically do $20, unless theres a side trip to cvs, etc.

I think the only room type at Aria where you can get delivery are the sky villas.

    Hope I can help.
I usually tip the driver 25-30 dollars. Tip what you feel is right. I'm sure people tip a lot more and some a lot less. lol
You get housekeeping service in the morning and turn down in the evening. I leave 5 or 10 depending on service or if I asked for extra amenities. I tipped a 10 and asked for extra shampoo and conditioner and they left a bag of bottles with everything, way more than enough. One suggestion I would make is to call and schedule turn down service. They start turn down around 5PM and if you are at the pool and they do turn down, they are freshening up a clean room. I usually call and schedule for when I'm at dinner. They are very accommodating.
I don't think any Sky Suites have been finished. I was there Sept.11-17 and I could hear work going on during the day very faintly. I don't think any renovated rooms have been occupied yet, but I could be wrong. The concierges can do anything you need, but I find it easier to just book reservations myself.
They ask for a key when enter the pool area., but if all of you are together as long as one of you has key, it's fine. When you check in at the sky pool they ask your name, room number, and how many guests. If you walk in together it's never a problem. I have never seen them be strict with guest count.
I would also suggest make reservations for every meal including breakfast. It makes everything much faster and easier. One of the best features of the Sky Suites is the lounge if you just want coffee and muffin in the morning otherwise the lines are ridiculous. I have never ordered room service so I can't comment on that. I usually go to Sadelles in the Bellagio for breakfast in the morning or just grab coffee and muffin from the lounge if I want something light. Can't wait for your trip report. Wish I was still there. Best of luck.

Thanks to everyone who responded! We're obviously stoked for our trip, and being better informed never hurts to make the trip more relaxing and fun!
