    Just got word that all flights in and out of Sky Harbor are in a holding pattern due to a fire in a control tower.

    Not a good omen.

    The walkway is a vast improvement, at least, although the last few times I went through it, it was after the construction had begun and they'd started to block things off. Almost reminds me a little of a not-as-nice knockoff of the path from Bellagio to the Strip (the one where the moving walkways had been).

    Trip was a bust. Maybe better luck in November. I've never seen slots so tight at ARIA. Never saw anyone else get a hand pay either.

    That sucks. I noticed the same thing at Aria when we visited in August. Just a money suck and no hand pays to be found.

    Next trip up though.
