getting ready to check out and........ comps are totally f'd..
Said I didn't qualify for any comp at all. Average $10 for 4 hours.. slots $10 Ave for 4 hours.. after some prodding on how that's possible she looked deeper and said I had a $53 average for 47 minutes total. I know I not once bet less than $75 and sure played more than 1 hour.. so the pits must not have put me in.. even the 4 hours of slots and $10. Ave gave nothing. And who knows how they came up with that number. Granted the play we gave was way less then a typical Vegas trip since this wasn't really a gambling trip for us, but I still thought they would at least comp the resort fee. She said you need 4 hours per day.

geoff thanks for the update ..... yes typically bahamas casino same answer from atlantis...

i am just happy with a room comp even though it cost 85$ per night at the cove...... i gave them the same action as venetian and the las vegas casino would

be a comped room costing zero plus last time there they picked up my room charges minus tax and tips about 480$

of course the ratings are screwed up .

which hotel did you stay at ????? grand hyatt or sls???

Hyatt... sls just opened last week so we figured there would be too many issue that haven't been worked out yet. We booked the best non suite room we could when we first booked it was $450 a night plus taxes and fees, rebooked when it went down to $350 then down to 302, then again at 350 but stay 3 nights get one free...

What the hell that is the one shitty thing if they don't have their act together on back end comps department.
Also need to do a daily check up to see your stats it seems.

10avg for 4 hrs for slots is damn high

I think Atlantis was 4 hrs and like $3-4

I think the biggest problem is most of the employees don't really understand and a inexperienced. No one could tell me what the "gold tier" actually was for example, or calculating the payout on a blackjack the dealer would try to do the math in their head rather than cutting the bets down and matching.. seems like a lack of training. Most are very friendly though. Personally I hate having to confirm ratings with the pit after every session, even at Wynn hl I've occasionally run into them not even logging you in, you would think something like that would be the bare minimum they could do esp when it's not busy at all. This trip I wasn't too concerned since we didn't gamble too much, but if I was playing larger I'd certainly want to be proactive.. I would a little nervous if I was playing large how they would handle a mistake

I reached out to a friends host about NYE and they were slow on responses. Simple questions about property that took weeks to hear back on.

Booked Atlantis instead and will just take a taxi to gamble.

I saw Atlantis redid Cove pool, was already nice but new renovations and restaurant look even better.

They also did major overhaul to the coral towers as well and whole pool area. With crappy service it sounds like Bahamar is doing really Atlantis don't need to be worried about anything! As they sure aren't trying to lure gamblers too much

@broncofn are you going for NYE or earlier? For some reason I though you were going to Bahamas in mid December (another thread) but maybe I’m mistaken.

I’ve noticed a lot more promotional activity by Baha Mar last couple weeks, hope they can keep it up.

I’m sure sls is better than Hyatt in average... rosewood will be the place to stay once it opens...

Ocean club us now s four seasons so it will be interesting how that goes, but that’s still a car ride to Atlantis I believe...

Saw this week that William Hill is all set to go for Sportsbook and sale officially went through. Anyone know if Cantor offers betting through 3G/LTE on island or if it’s still only through the Atlantis Wi-Fi?

Cool property and much more operational now including SLS, restaurants, and bars. Still several restaurants left to open as well as Rosewood. I’d imagine it’ll be this New Years by time they get most kinks out and everything fully operational. Such a cool property though. Hope to see Atlantis step it up with further room renovations.

Great to hear that you liked it. We loved it back in december when my host gave us a tour of the property and rooms at the hyatt and sls. Was it busy when you were there?
