How is Ballys AC even on this list? This is what happens when you let people vote online. And a company stuffs the ballot box! If anyone has ever been to the place, you know its kinda a shithole. From the rooms, to the eats, to the small and dated casino. Impossible!

Best casino in AC is clearly the Borgata. Best casino on the boardwalk in AC is Oceans. And yet, Bally’s is one of the top 10 casinos in the country, not based in Las Vegas? Aint no way.

    Just in AC, I’d go:

    1. Borgata
    2. Oceans
    3. Hard Rock
    4. Caesers
    5. Tropicana
    6. Harrahs
    7. Golden Nugget
    8. Ballys
    9. Resorts World

Bally's must have given you shit for your vote. Lol

The other 9 are at least "reasonable."

They did something to stuff the ballot box! It was so egregious, I had to make a thread. Those that know, know!

The criteria and threshold for what is considered "the best" has likely been influenced by the affiliate commissions they stand to make according to the statement at the top of the article.

Hard rock is better than Oceans and Golden Nugget is better than Harrahs. Except for HR and Borgata they all suck worse than the bottom of a Vegas list.

We all have opinions. But I think we can all agree. That Ballys certainly isnt #1 in AC, let alone top 10 in the country outside of vegas!

I'm personally not a fan of Oceans. It's new and somewhat nice... but the layout is just weird.

Borgata is my favorite. Still probably the only place is AC worth making a trip for.

I was there when it first opened as Revel. It was a gorgeous property, but yeah. The layout was weird. You could tell it was the work of a bunch of different ideas, as they struggled to finally get the place open. The new owners corrected a lot of that. Added cut throughs, and grouped eatiers and shops more together.

I like the layout of the Borg, and the style of the place. Its #1 for me for sure. But the modern styling, and that high floor casinos with ocean views at Oceans is hard to beat IMO.

I found the Hard Rock a bit boring. I mean, its nice and miles better than the Taj. But very cookie cutter, as most all HR's are. Really no style to it. Still a top 3 in AC no doubt. But the bar is much lower past these 3.

It’s Ocean, singular. Does anyone say Hard Rocks or Tropicanas?

To each his own, I guess I’ve been there enough to know the layout cold. It’s like an oval with the sports bar in the center, some restaurants on the perimeter, high limit slots on one end, an Asian pit close to a HL room on the perimeter. On a level above is the Avila lounge which overlooks the gaming floor which is on 6. There is a food court in the back. The lobby is on 11 and there are a couple restaurants and a large outdoor terrace overlooking the beach. This is where the spa and indoor/outdoor pool is located. They have the best parking garage on the island, no other comes close for convenience.

Anyone who voted Bally’s AC in the top 10 never stayed in the 100 year old Dennis Tower in a courtyard facing room in the summer. A couple years ago, Bally’s installed a greenhouse-like bar called The Yard in the Dennis Tower courtyard. When bands are playing late into the night, the noise makes it difficult to sleep. The entire Bally’s complex was sold for $25 million. That’s around 1200 rooms, a parking garage, 80,000 square feet of gaming area, 100,000 square feet of meeting rooms, several restaurants. And a beach bar.

It's a shame and definitely a joke that Bally's AC is listed among those big casinos in CT, CA and OK.
