Mrs PTD and I are taking an unexpected trip in June (just two and a half weeks after getting home from our planned May trip haha) due to a work conference.

I went ahead and booked a CET offer that included a few free nights and $100 dining credit. When looking at the Bally's rooms (since it's right across from our favorite place to play table games, the Cromwell) I noticed it let me book the Studio Resort Suite for free. The rooms look nice but wanted to check with you all and see if I made the right decision over day a hip room at PH?

I would call Ballys and ask if the Resort Studio Suite has recently been renovated. If so, take it. It would be a step up in my opinion from the Hip Room at PH. Bally's has the largest rooms on the strip, so that may be a factor as well. Location is great to boot.

Per their website, the Resort Studio Suite is recently renovated:

I wouldn't expect anything special other than more space; it's not like their Executive Suites which have hot tubs. It's basically a larger version of a standard room.

The hip room is just a normal room, so you'll have a bit more space in Bally's. The Bally's rooms are also newer as the PH remodels were done awhile ago, although I stayed in one last month and it was still in good shape.
