Beauty and Essex must orders?

    Hoping to go on the Saturday of SF with a decent sized group so we can try lots of things. I know the tomato soup dumplings
    get lots of thumbs up, what else? Please rec drinks too!

    I love B and E! The filet is excellent, the Caesar toast, the Thai shrimp. The person I was with loved the tuna tacos. The only thing I've had there that I didn't care for was the short rib mac and cheese. I thought it lacked flavor. I'm a beer girl so no drink recommendations. Also you must try the donuts with dipping sauces for dessert! They are incredible.

    Grilled cheese/smoked bacon and tomato soup dumplings were our favorite. My wife loved the "Bubbles & Berries" drink - Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Belvedere Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, Muddled Strawberries

    Really enjoyed Beauty and Essex. My surprising favorite was the Spaghettini. I would skip the chicken meatballs. They did not come close to the deliciousness of everything else we tried. Have a great dinner!

    Thanks for all of the suggestions guys! The French onion soup and tomato soup dumplings are both on my to try list, as is the avocado toast (I will try anything with avocado!). I'm sad that the short rib Mac and cheese was disappointing, @Elf70, but feel I need to order it anyway, as short ribs are like my favorite food on earth. And, that spaghettini looked amazing @nhchris - hadn't planned on ordering that, but after seeing that picture, I will! Is that pesto sauce on there?
