    Hello there again Dear Friends,

Well it is about that time again. After a summer of golf and basting in the pool consuming copious amounts of Peach Ciroc and Black Cherry White Claw, it is about time for ole BeeeJay to buckle down and get back down to business!!!

The kids just started back to school, I've divested various other abhorrent time sucking activities, and now I am fully prepared to approach this endeavor with laser-like focus.

A quick update on the summer activities. Just completed a nice trip to Vegas and have been playing lots of golf with the boys. Handicap continues to decrease slowly. Still lucky in Vegas. Had a great family and buddy trip to Palazzo with 2 days of cabana and a round of golf at Wynn. Hit big on 3 card poker for over $20K and booked the win the first night.

Actually got the daughter to round out our foursome a couple times this summer!

    IMG_1249.JPEG

Seany narrowly missed a hole-in-one at TPC Deere Run and got an ovation from the grounds crew taking down stands a couple weeks after the John Deere Classic!

    IMG_3918.JPEG

Seany and I got 2nd place at the Father-Son Scramble at Cantigny, shooting a 3-under 33 and losing by 1 to the pro there who has played in US Open etc. We played way over our heads that day thanks to Seany dropping bombs!

    IMG_4135.JPEG

Was down $7,500 and literally felted 3-4 hands before this, on the last hand i looked and saw a red 3 and a black ace and figured I was done. The 3rd card was a 2 thank god and that straight gave me the bullets that led this $775 bet on pairs plus a few hands later. Saw the second nine and was relieved to survive the big bet, saw the third nine and the table went NUTS!!!!

    IMG_4430.JPEG

    $23,250 win.

    IMG_4433.JPEG

Hit a few more $2,000 quads celebrating and banked the win after night one. Locked it in. I am no longer comped at Palazzo due to the short play, but who cares!!!

    IMG_4440.JPEG

Venetian Plunge Cabana ($1,000--$600 rent/$400 F&B on weekdays). I thought this was a great value, they are $4,500+ on weekends!

    IMG_4458.JPEG

We had lots of friends come visit and enjoy!

    IMG_4475.JPEG

Borat found the practice area at Wynn up to his standard!

    IMG_4514.JPEG

Seany absolutely carried the team of hungover degenerates with long drives and buried putts all day!

    IMG_4529.JPEG

This report will include the usual bs activities, heavy drinking, random items, with a good dose of golf and Vegas. The itinerary for this years semi-interesting non-Vegas & Vegas activities on which I will report are as follows:

Sept 19th: Bears game in United Club. Hopefully the seats and drinks are better than the team.

Sept 25th: Ryder Cup International Pavilion. Going up Saturday to play golf with a buddy who lives near Kohler, attending the final round with Seany.

Oct 8-26: Road Trip to Vegas #1. Stopping in Omaha/Lincoln to party and tailgate at the Michigan-Nebraska game, not buying tickets since the team sucks. On to Vegas via the Colorado-Utah route. 5 nights Aria with Alexanbo. 7 nights Palazzo with some NYC models. Was gonna cancel Palazzo portion but was able to replace my now defunct October crew with some happily willing and luckily desperate upgrades. Plan is to alternate pool days and golf. Hoping to hook up with some buddies for good courses but if not I'll just suffice at Bali Hai. I will have the car so may head out to some other courses to mix it up a bit. Depending on how off the rails the drinking is going at that time. ;)

Nov 8-17: Pre-Winter Phoenix Trip. I've got an Airbnb on Kierland Mesquite #9 with a 5-minute walk to the bag drop, flying down to chew up some United credits, plan is to play golf and maintain tan at the pool.

Dec 4-May 1: Winter Phoenix Trip Drive to Phoenix for the winter. Staying at an Airbnb at Kierland Commons, easy walk to golf at Kierland and close to the TPC where I like to practice. Family is down from Dec 20-Jan 2. I'm heading back up to Vegas for 8 nights after the Waste Management. 4 nights Palazzo/4 nights Cosmo. Then back to Phoenix for the duration of winter. Palazzo will prob be replaced on these two legs with Aria or Cosmo as I'm fully comped at both of those. For October I'm getting 3 nights comped and $109 casino rate the other nights so no reason to scuttle that. It's much easier to pile in a large group of drunken sunburnt Gramercy Park socialites with those bigger Palazzo rooms.

So it should be a fun next 6 months, main focus on golf and drinking with a heavy dose of Vegas degeneracy mixed in!!!

Have another new Caddy shipped to the house in the spring when the chip shortage hopefully subsides. You just need a few more three card poker hits lol.

How's Cantigny? Honest right down the road from me, but we always end up playing the same courses over and over lol

Sounds like it'll be another great winter away from Chicago.

Congrats on another crazy 3CP hit!

It’s good—maybe overrated for cost? Where do you usually play? I walked Oak Brook yesterday, that didn’t end well when I hit the heat exhaustion wall and started making doubles

Honestly we usually just play Philips Park in Aurora. Solid city course and we can get in 18 sub 3 hours before an afternoon shift.

Philips Park, Settlers Hill, Whitetail, Tanna Farms, Bloomingdale are all courses I've played regularly. Nothing fancy usually. I'm usually just looking to get in and out

I really like Prairie Landing if I'm feeling fancy lol

Prairie Landing is prob my favorite Chicago-area course, we’ve driven the hour out there just to practice a couple times this summer.

We mostly play Hilldale, White Pines, Oak Brook, Arlington Lakes. And a bunch of one offs.

Lots of great golf in Chicagoland if you don’t mind a little drive!

The Venetian plunge pool looks fantastic. It seems like a lot of space.

It is so so enjoyable with the kids and a few buddies, especially when it’s super hot like this time of year. Took a couple quick naps in the AC portion. It was just great having our loungers, dining areas, own bathroom, etc. I paid $750 for a day bed during NCAA so that made $1,000 for this almost a no-brainer!

Yeah I believe it 15 person occupancy. There are so many seating areas. You have the indoor part with a huge sectional and a dining table, the outdoor part has a couch by a coffee table, 4 sun loungers, the daybed, plus the plunge pool. So it can easily handle 12-15 people. There are two 75" TV's, one by the plunge pool, another inside. Last we watched two games at once on a football Sunday from the loungers by leaving the doors to the inside portion open.

The other really nice thing is the close access to the main pools. The only downside is you get a lot of unwanted visitors who stroll in and plant themselves on your seats or in your pool. We learned to leave the rope closed at all times. Literally the moment you leave it down people will start coming in.

It is $1,000/day Mon-Thur during the summer, $600 rental/$400 food & bev min. I believe my totals were $1,400 and $1,600 for the two days w/overtipping.

We did have two male attendants this time, there would be one semi-hot gal who would introduce as our cabana host, then these assistants would take over and we would never see her again. They did a fantastic job. I guess hot chicks are in higher demand for other "positions" in Vegas these days! ;)

He better after all the catholic school tuition I've been paying!!!

Funny story, I was playing golf Tuesday and doing OK on a course I have trouble with, I had just driven a Par 4 and 2-putted for birdie and then narrowly missed another birdie on a long par 4 I played really well, which happens to have a church steeple in the background. The playing partner who was pretty decent commented I had played the hole really well, and I responded that I should with all that catholic school tuition I've been paying. At his point I am +3 after 11, +1 for the last 8 holes.

Then his brother mentioned he pays the tuition for his 11 grandchildren and rattled off various expensive catholic schools in the area. I'm not Catholic, but my in-laws who insist on my kids attending catholic school are, and they have never given a dime. I immediately doubled 3 of the next 4 holes and shot an 83. The dude apologized for fucking me up at the end, although I hadnt even thought of that. :)

Sounds like an amazing option for a football sunday....I'm not liking those weekends prices though lol

Me and the boys always do one cabana sunday each football season to relax in the pools etc and watch football in the cabana
