Bellagio 1/21 - 1/25 Semi-live

Greetings!

I’ll try to update a few times while I’m here...kudos to those that keep live reports going. It can be tough.

I arrived last night around 10:15...every time I fly at night after working some during the day, I swear I won’t do it again. It makes a very long day. When I got to the airport yesterday, I got a notification that my flight was delayed 30 minutes and I knew I already had a tight connection in Atlanta. Delta switched me to a different flight out but I didn’t get a text update for that and discovered the switch when I went up to the sky club...so I’m sure this was all happening quickly but I need to check my notification preferences so I don’t miss something like this in the future.

I tend to forget one important item every trip (bathing suit for a beach trip, laptop charger, etc). The forgotten items this time are my dressier evening purse and my prescription ibuprofen. I’m more bummed about the ibuprofen. Perhaps I will find a new purse today and I’m heading out after I get off a mandatory work call to get some alleve and other necessities (room wine, lotion, five hour energy, etc).

schedule is loose, but looks like this:

Friday - pedicure at 4:30,dinner at Yellowtail
Saturday - tea at Petrossian - super excited for this. I’m embarrassed to admit that I stay at Bellagio four or five times a year for many years now and I have never done this. Dinner at Mayfair.
Sunday - NFL playoffs and dinner at Lago
Monday - flying home on red eye. I have another work call during the day and might do a facial before that. Was going to do that Saturday but schedule didn’t work.

Intermingled in the schedule is lots of gambling...I decided to start off at an older favorite $10.00 Triple Stars...I played about $300 through and then gave it one more $100... and hit for $4,800. Then got the exact same jackpot three or four bands later. Slotted around quite a bit.

Purse dump this morning!

 

Last night was great...i changed my normal approach which i usually play a lot during the day and then play the higher limit machines “if i’m up”...well, that doesn’t happen a lot!

Went to Aria this afternoon for a visit to row 802. Bad news, the draw button is broken on the Double Super Times Pay machine. I tried hitting the draw button on the screen but it was awkward and annoying. I went to the machine on the other side and it wasn’t kind.

Got a nice bonus on Cleo II playing quarters...frittered away some of that bumping up to dollars.

Went to Walgreens for my room wine and lotion and Alleve. I’m a little fascinated as to why the lotion is all locked up there. I had the Walgreens employee get my lotion and she asked if i was ready to check out. I said no, so she said it will be up front at the main cashier??? They must have had a problem with people helping themselves to free lotion...i thought it was odd.

Swung by sports book at Bellagio and played a little video poker before my pedicure and hit 4 aces on $2.00 so that paid me back what the DSTP machine at Aria kept!

The casino won yesterday but I swung hard at it all day.

Dinner was at Yellowtail...popping spicy crab and short rib entree
Plus two old fashioneds.

Played 4 card poker for a bit and left the table wjth my $900 buy in. I had it up to $1700 at one point but it was also down to last hand status at one point.

Crazy good buffalo hit on buffalo diamond. It could have been much larger. Got 36 free games at 4x which tetriggeed several times for a total
Of 84 games. Never got more than 3 buffalos and no wilds with buffalos. Next time!

At Mon Ami Gabi now for breakfast...tra at 2:00 and then a facial at 5:00. I normally do the spa in the morning...but i didn’t book in advance.
