Received a CET invite but still waiting on Aria/Cosmo/etc. Surprisingly I’ve never been out for the Super Bowl before. Any recommendations on the best events / parties? How is the seating for the invite events at Cosmo/Aria (should I be reaching out to buy couch etc)?

    Thanks!

Cosmo just started sending out their invites.

Personally, I like the Aria party best, but there are a lot of good ones. Seating at Aria inside the convention ballrooms is all couch seating. In the past, they also had seating in the old Zarkana theater, but not sure if that even still exists. Cosmo party has couch seating for their biggest players and banquet tables for everyone else

Nope, demolished to make way for the new convention center expansion. Which is apparently pulling in wayyyyyy more money than Zarkana was, I'm told.

That's what I assumed, but I never really walk over there anymore and wasn't certain. I was gong to the Aria spa this Thursday and noticed there were a ton of conventioneers at the property

Does anyone know if the Cosmopolitan party details are online? I only ever get my invites via mail for some reason and still haven’t received mine yet.

I see some of their event details for the other bars/restaurants are up.

If you’re not yet on the level of getting invites the “Vegas Big Game” group on Facebook is a great resource for prices and reviews of the various parties that are pay to play.

Do they stagger invites or if we didn’t get one last week it’s safe to assume we are not in? Was just there a little over a week ago, not sure if that matters.

Just got mine yesterday in the mail so might just be slow as they batch out. That said I imagine they roll out mailings at least a little to fill it up.

I was hoping they’re would be more details on actual party itself. Like what is seating like, food, etc lol

Nah just a physical invite. For whatever reason I only seem to get paper invitations instead of emails (which I used to get). I may have inadvertently unsubbed at some point.

Are any of these invites transferable if people decide not to go?

The parties I have been to, I guess anyone can use the tickets after you get them, but I can't imagine a lot of people doing that for two reasons. First, you have to be there with a players card and ID to pick up your tickets to the party. So if you're already there and stood in line to get the tickets, why not go. Second, the tickets for the best parties are in short supply. My host has always gotten me tickets and I really wouldn't want my host to walk by my table or seat and not see me anywhere and thinking they should have given the tickets to one of their other players

Has anyone ever been to the V/P for the Superbowl party? It's my first year so was curious what it's like.

Agreed. The "tickets" (to the extent they even exist in physical form these days) are transferable, but it's a bad look for an event like this. And either way, you'll have to show up in person to get them. If the question is whether you can go there, get a ticket, and hand it off to a friend, then the answer is "maybe", but you definitely can't just forward an email on to someone else.

FWIW. CET invites look like this “Enjoy 3 nights at Flamingo Las Vegas (2/1-2/3), Big Game Welcome Gift & 2 tickets to watch the Big Game @ Flamingo! Call ....”. So you can take a guest and or give a stranger your extra ticket / wrist band.

It's a good time. Been to 5 or 6 at V/P. Tons of big screens (not TV's, more like movie mini theater screens). At least 4 buffet stations scattered throughout the room. Big round tables. We usually get in line an hour before the doors open. That way we can pick just about any table we want to sit at. Food is dogs, wings, pasta, meatballs, desserts, nachos, a taco bar, and a bunch of other stuff. There is a betting station outside. Here's a couple pics. The screens on the walls surround the entire room and are probably close to 20 feet wide. All you can drink liquor, beers, and wines. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Most get there before the game starts. With that said, you'll find seats somewhere. They might not be the best. Remember, it's a sold out party. If you're the last two people in the room, chances are you might not be sitting together at the same table. I'm sure it will all work out for you.
