Had no plans on being in vegas monday night, never mind going to the show, but was offered some tix after extending another night in vegas.

Didnt realize it was his very first show until we showed up and line was wrapped around the casino to get in. Found the platinum entrance and although line was short it was taking forever. Well the main reason for the huge line was the locking up of the cell phones. I read the tix and it said no phone so we just left ours back at the room. I believe some of the delay was people arguing they didnt want phone locked up. They put it in a little nylon bag and secure it with a clothing security tag. At the end of the show they had attendants with devices to take the locks off.

No phones allowed was brilliant IMO. First people were able to work on their verbal social skills and had no other option to talk to people rather than staring at phone texting. Second you didnt have people in your way trying to video. I am sure everyone got to enjoy the show more because they werent busy videoing and sending texts. Again I think this move was awesome and hopefully other venues will learn from this as the world needs a break from this mindless cell phone addiction.

Lines do get a little long for drinks. They actually were not as long as aerosmith. The go to drink we found was the margarita. 16oz $16 32 oz $32. Extra shot $4. You had choice of patron or don julio. It had 2 large shots or 4 large shots based upon size. Did 16oz and would highly recommend extra shot as it didnt taste strong and will last the show knowing you have extra bit of alcohol in it. Also three shots patron for $20 in vegas seems like a great deal. Plenty of other premium alcohol choices, and just a few snacks popcorn & nuts.

Seats were great just like we had for aerosmith on friday, section 200 middle ,few rows up. Like people said there really shouldnt be a bad seat in there.

Bruno mars started 40 mins late, maybe because of getting the line of people in that was moving slowly because of the phone. Show was high energy from the beginning. I am not a Bruno Mars fan, i knew most songs, not only was bruno awesome his band was also awesome. Stage was bright colorful energetic and really awesome. Fiance actually said she liked bruno mars better than aerosmith, even though aerosmith was suppose to be the highlight of the trip for her. I also would agree Bruno was the better show. I would definitely go see this again.

(Typed on Ipad, my excuse for bad grammar and mispelling)

Thanks for the info. We are considering going to his show on this Saturday night, but the resale prices for good seats are insane. Hard to swallow $1000+ per ticket.

I think it would be refreshing to see a concert without everyone around try to video it. I saw Bruno on NYE 2018. I’d love to see him again and may add it to an upcoming trip. Thanks for the review.

Maybe you take the chance and wait until closer to the show? Saturday night though and after that he wont be back until Sept. I didn't realize this but hes only performing 11 times this year!!! I feel fortunate to get two comped tix, but they did cost a lot more than 1k a piece,.

What did people do with their phones? Just promise to keep off, did they store them, YIKES! But I also like the idea.

I was at the show on Friday. We were given Yondr cases to put them in. There was a designated area where people could go to if they needed to unlock the case in order to use the phone during the show

I was also at Friday's show but had been warned by my host not to take along my phone, so I just left it in the room. Used the Platinum entrance and got in very quickly, and was in my seat a good 45 minutes before the show started. Because of not having my phone, and being there on my own, you are forced to talk to strangers, which is a great way of getting to know new people. I was sat next to a couple who had drove from California just to see Bruno's show and they were going back straight after.

The show itself was phenomenal, and his little song about talking peoples phones off them was really funny. I am not a huge fan, but again knew most of his songs from my countless hours of motorway driving, and would recommend it to everyone if they get the chance.
