A NIGHT TO TRY AND REMEMBER

    Part 3

This part is very tricky. It is heavily reliant on third party stories that can and cannot be shared. As most experiences in Vegas go? Oh, just me? Bummer.

Bob takes the pics with the two beautiful ladies on the strip. Now we are on our way to the Bellagio. I had decided on the way over that whatever I won at Bellagio was meant to be taken to CH3. I took about $1,000 with me to limit the theft from strippers and or Bellagio.

I had a buddy that knows the manager at CH3 set up a bottle for me at CH3. $100 for the first bottle and a prime spot… Uh, yeah? Bob is probably the most experienced of all of us at Gentleman’s Clubs. In fact 6/7 of the last times I was at a Gentleman’s club, Bob was there and the reason we went. Well, the guys were ready to head to CH3 and… crickets… I didn’t know what to do so I called the club directly. $700 for a table plus tip… Call it $1,000. In the easy request for $100 ever I got 9 of the guys to hand me a Benjamin without questions when I simply said, “$100 Bill for Titties.” Driver was there quickly and we set through Bellagio. About two minutes after my impatient ass decided to call the club directly my buddy hit me back up… I was like FUCK! I just gave my card to the lady over the phone, something that would come back to bite me in the ass, apparently.

    Shit, I won too much.

“Uh, can I get $500 in singles? It’s not for what you think, ok yes it is. Titties.”

William exclaims, “BS, let me hold $500 in ones.” I toss it to him like a football. With that pass, I approved everyone else doing the same… I end up walking ahead with Bob, both very intoxicated at this juncture in our trip, but I was still remembering some things up to this point…

We were well ahead of the group, when I hear aloud commotion and then my name… I turn around. I EXCLAIMED, “WHAT THE FUCK?” The ones were all over the Bellagio, right by the North Valet, where our chariot awaited.

Pics are from a Snapchat video that one friend happened to be recording.

We clean up the mess and I later learned that someone who was not with our group picked up the football after a fumble and decided to fan it out, subsequently we made it rain in the Bellagio. Glad I could fund that story…

    Total loss in the recovery?

THREE DOLLARS! Worth it for the forever story…

We get to the strip club Gentleman’s Club, and I am officially wasted. We get patted down and I still have a wad of ones in my hand. Guess who was a HIGH End target? B-fucking-S, Awesome… NOT. My favorite part is the end of the conversation when they want more money than you are willing to give and every interaction that was so great 5 minutes before ends sour… Walking in with $497 in ones made me a mark that I did not want.

Right when we walk in we are checking in and they ask for my name and my card. Whoops, they decided to charge me multiple times… Awesome! Currently disputing with Amex. We did not get any additional bottles or anything, fuckers.

I will skip most parts of this, mostly because you all know as much as me. NOTHING. Everything that I remember is this… Bob asked for $100 a few times and I handed it over to him without questions. Someone else asked for some money and I turned into the bank…I have four lovely ladies dancing with me and I am telling one of them about my wife… She said, “Is that her right there?” I turned to my right… “HOLY SHIT, HEY!” I say.

She hops right up next to me and my next question, how the hell did you get here?

    “Uh, you sent us a car… “

SS and I were the last ones there. I have no idea why I was going to wake up with ZERO cash in my pocket, who ended up with the ones?

I had gambled all night and “came to” at 6:00. SS asks me, “Want to go get your cell phone?”

It’s… right here in my pocket WHERE THE HELL IS IT?

    “You left it at CH3.”

Why in the hell would I do that, how do you know that, WTF?

Get a car to B1 and have an awesome driver, “D.” We let him in on as escapades from the night before and walk right up to to CH3. We couldn’t get back in… They bring my phone out and we are on our way. Collectively our group spent about $5,000. No clue how much of that was mine.

D takes our pic in front of the letters. I simply said, stop the car. I need a pic in front of the letters. He climbed on top of the Escalade for this pic…

    God, I love this casino.

Why do I have this in my hand?

That gray shirt I was wearing... not mine. Also, it was inside out. Many people were like wtf is wrong with your shirt? I finally went into the HL bathroom and switched it right side out. Turns out it was John’s. No clue how I got it.

I finally got my phone back in my hand so I could document my trip! I decided to stop by craps… Looks like it was pretty hot. Shooter had just hit the tall and needed the 5 to complete the ALL. The shooter and another gentleman had $50 on each spot. They had already been paid $1500 and if he could roll a five before a nice payout of $9k was going to each of them.

I made most of my money on the four… Rolled it five or six times.

Oh ya, he also hit the five finally.

After a few rolls, I called it off and claimed $260 when the next roll was finally the seven. Nice to be right and lucky?

    +$800

I then ordered an espresso martini from Chandelier at the table, the waitress said she couldn’t do that and I changed her mind with a green chip. Gave her another one when she came back. Mutually beneficial!

Had $2600 in my pocket and was feeling great. Assumed I was up $1,600 since the club and with $700 of that owed to my credit card, OK I was up $900… That’s fine especially after all of the money we probably spent at CH3.

    NAP TIME

Quick nap then we had lunch at Javier’s with @44inarow at 11:30… We missed that…

Went down to Talon to check on my Line and see if I had made any drunken withdrawals last night…

Shit, $2k less than my mental note. That means the $2,600 I had on my was $600 profit on the morning, not $900 since the last night. I either dumped $2k at CH3 or at the tables and I have no recollection. Luckily I did not pull more. Either way I was still up several thousand and it was set to be my best day of gambling!

John took a nap outside of secret pizza and took a nap at CH3... a lovely dancer braided his hair while he napped.

I thought CH3 was a new casino until I read some more.

As one of many many groups of 4, appreciate you spending time to write such entertaining TR. Thanks BS!

    THE RELAXING DAY

    Part 4

SS showed me this pic that neither of us remember from the aftermath of the bachelor night… Let’s just say at 4:10 AM going up the escalator who knows what my poor eyes had seen?

Let’s be thankful we do not remember and that SS doesn’t remember.

I crashed about 10:30 AM, hoping to get an hour of sleep before we met up with @44inarow for lunch.

The one thing I do remember was when we woke up… There was a black dress in our room. I asked SS, uh, did we bring someone back to our room?

    “What?”

There is a black dress here with a big wad of hair on the zipper. Was it just you and me last night? Did you bring someone back?

    “No.”

We both weren’t really sure, but also didn’t think we had, but had no idea.

We finally got around and it looks like we made it over to Javier’s about 13:00 or so. When we got to Javier’s some of the family had just finished eating. I walked over to them to be polite and say hello… they were talking about me… The future sister in law was like “Ya, he slid $5k into the circle and listened to us when we said pull it back, then he tells us it’s going to be a blackjack… He still bet $100 and guess what? BLACKJACK! THEN HE DID IT AGAIN” – Total gain on those two hands was $300. $15k could have been nice?

Javier’s was great as usual. We got the Ceviche with two orders of Tuna and one order of Shrimp. Usually comes with Halibut, which is great but their Ahi Tuna is so good.

SS and I also shared the Trio Enchiladas.

A couple of Margaritas to keep us upright and finally one for the road.

@44inarow was very generous and covered well more than his share of the bill. Thank you again!

SS and I had been debating a nap but when we got back to Cosmo everyone was downstairs getting their Degen on. Ok, I will oblige.

Start off rocky and then before you know it I am in for $1k… I pull another $1k and get to work dropping it all the way down to $200.

ALL IN. 20 vs dealer up card of an 8

Table does there thing and the dealer decides to draw after he flipped an 8 underneath… Don’t you fucking dare…

    Next card was a
    [IMG]

Battle back and forth and finally get back to my $2k. Not bad after an all in… If only that simple at the beginning.

We switch tables to play with some other friends and I needed a change of pace. Poof 14 hands in a row I lose $2k. That is pretty shitty luck right? I sit there for a minute and tip the waitress $20 for my Mac 18 that she brought to me on the main floor unsure of what to do next. I sip my drink and watch Z win some more money… He crushed it over the weekend.

I see “Dave” at another table across the way and I decide to join him. John also accompanies us to the table.

I get a marker for $5k, I can admit I was a little out of it. I decided to win a hand at $250, then win the next one and press to $500 win the next one and press to $1,000. Back and forth while I would flirt with a $500 bet I would lose the second one, pretty well treading even for most of the session. Then this… I win $250, $250, $500, $500… Now it is time to stack…

    $1,000 win
    $1,000 win
    $1,500 win
    $1,000 win
    $1,500 win
    $1,000 win
    $1,000 win
    $1,000 win
    AND SNAP.

Hindsight says why didn’t you stack a couple of $1,000 bets? $1,000 is plenty and I thought about it, but the dealer dealt so damn fast. I just collected chips I decided that was the run that I needed and when I tossed in my chips to the pit I thought I had just won $3k (I was out of it, remember?) Turns out after a marker buy back, this was my prize.

I ran upstairs to change into some clothes really quick, dreading having to go to Absinthe after dinner, Zuma was great as usual. I ordered another Burning History. The tables around always ask about it as it is quite the spectacle. There is plenty of great food at Zuma, but I highly recommend this drink, especially but not exclusively if you enjoy whiskey.

As this shows, I started to do a terrible job at snagging pics…

Pork Belly Skewers, and that is all folks!

I had not ordered our tickets to Absinthe yet, because I like to wait and make sure people will go…$180 to go vs $100 we could have gotten them for weeks earlier. (Remember the part where I didn’t want to go?) Dang! No one wants to spend that much? Are you sure?? We will if you all change your mind, SS and I are game.

We end up getting off the hook when everyone decided it was a bit much to spend on a show.

Gamble the night away and end up winning quite a bit more.

At 9:30 decided I needed a pick me up and Dave agreed. We went to 1.5 and saw A. She jumped right to us and knocked out our order in record time. She even remembered my room number.

The guys and I spent some time teaching them baccarat. Min bet was $200, but they all were piling on top. Bones and I managed to ride a 14/18 banker run and make a decent amount.

    Then for some BJ

Was not sure of the total, and honestly did not care too much. I knew I was up $18k or $13k so I did not sweat it either way.

We all started to make some moves. Everyone was planning to go to bed earlier than normal so we could be refreshed and ready to party for the Wedding Day. I had about five hours of sleep up to that point and my body was ready for a retirement party. One friend loves Taco Bell, and as we went over to Momofuku for some cold soup and pork buns we were told there would be a wait. We put our names on the list and I suggested we go check out the Cantina while we wait. Dave was blown away… He loved it.

We went back to Momofuku I was dragging some serious ass. Ate my pork buns then quickly retired to the room.

When I got upstairs SS was already crashed I was in bed thinking about what Saturday had in store and I decided I would risk $5k on the final day to book a win and still have a strong enough bankroll to make some moves.

    Epic, man! Love reading it.
What I like about your TR is (many things, actually) you gamble hard but you also play hard and eat hard (you know what I mean) and having fun over all. You don't neglect any pieces. Friends, drinks, gamble, golf, general and adult shenanigans, etc. Such balance! Well played.

BS, I wanted to officially thank you for your willingness to share your adventures. The way you weave your tales to build anticipation for the big payoff(s) makes them that much sweeter for the reader. Your reports are among a very limited number of posters that I will go out of my way to keep up with, so my balls and I appreciate that you took the time to finish up. Keep doing Vegas right, and hopefully our trips align one of these days - I think I owe you a drink

    THE BIG DAY

    Part 5

Woke up to my alarm at 8:00 after about six hours of sleep. The hard to come by abnormal thing in Vegas, Sleep! With that night of rest, I had pretty much double what I had on the first two nights in Vegas. I was in store for a very long day… My flight left in 23 hours and I had no intention of sleeping anymore.

The Sooners would begin their route of Lane Kiffin’s FAU squad at 9:00. The girls were all getting ready in the wrap around and the guys were getting ready in my room. We had the bungalow, but check in was not until three, which I requested early, which they said would be eleven at the earliest, which I said do better…

I went down to the front desk about 8:30 to see about some keys… They gave me keys but would not tell me which empty bungalow we would have because it was not ready yet… Hmmmm. My guess is there is a delay on their system on when they can put people in rooms and as a standard practice they do not want to let people go into a room before the previous guest is out.
Back in the room, Bob could not figure out this damned bow tie. After about 45 minutes, he knocked it out. His nerves were also hitting him a little bit…

    Want something to drink?

    “Sure, what do you have?

How about some Scotch, perhaps Macallan 18?

    “Uh, yes please.”

--Thanks again for the generous bottle of Mac 18, @Riders!

At 10:28, I got the message. ZB 4 was ready. Most of the guys had made it to my room or were on their way. We pulled a quick audible and decided to finish getting ready in the Bungalow to make the most of the coin we were spending on such an incredible suite.

Bob needed a lint roller, so we tasked the Butler to help us out. For $9.73 and a very generous $20 tip we had our lint roller. Bob was on pace for the best day of his life, but his nerves were hitting home.

    **Pours another scotch.**

All of the guys showed up and after a quick tour and water falling from the ceiling in the bathroom we were ready to meet up to head to the wedding venue. I had a car ready at B1 and six of us piled in. John and “Andy” were schedule to leave at 17:00… None of us wanted any part of that and we were generally offended they would leave all of us…

The ceremony was beautiful and VERY efficient. We arrived at 12:20 and we were kicked out of the “Chapel” at 12:45. The wedding had started at 12:30. Chapel of the Flowers runs a tight ship. We could not even stand in the lobby while we waited for our car to come. I told the driver to be there at 1:00, not knowing how long it would be and this time around we would have two cars. One arrived at 12:59 and I sent four people on their way and about 1:10 the other car arrived and six of us were on our way back to Cosmo for some food and light partying in the Bungalow.

On the way back I told John to change his flight. He said, “Give me $500 to cover the flight costs.” I flipped him a flag… Whoops that might be too much. Trade me that for these five Benjamins. Andy was like WTF. She was willing and ready to party, but part of her was ready to go home, understandably so. Flights changed in the car and on the way back to Cosmo. Andy and John would be leaving with us at 8:15 AM just a few short hours away.

Once back to Cosmo we went to Block 16 to sample some food. We got Hattie B’s chicken at the three levels of spicy to sample, the wings from Pok Pok and the Korean Pork Shoulder from Lardo. We went back up to the wraparound and all snacked and grazed while the family was doing a small reception in the bungalow. The groom, wise beyond his years, decided it would be best to keep the degenerates away from the parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles… We would all head down about 3:00.

Before that was possible I decided I wanted a photo like this:

SS was livid, pissed beyond belief. GET THE FUCK DOWN. I, very calmly, not under the influence of anything other than a bit of lack of sleep wanted to get the photo done as quickly as possible. I said, take the photo and I will get down, easy as that. Dave snapped a great photo of me and I quickly got down. I realized the risk, but also assumed .0001% of risk that I fall. I was leaning forward, my ass on the front end of the back side and while it looks exciting, it was a very calculated photo.

SS got over it and let me snap this one of us:

We then took our talents to the Bungalow to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.

I had a change of clothes in the Bungalow and was ready to rock and roll after a quick change.

    I ordered some pot stickers

    No more Blackjack at Marquee…

I was very bummed about this.

    4MM Gold Club

The group was shy about hitting the club, even if it was for free. We decided to enjoy some people watching from the balcony for a lot of the afternoon. I ordered a couple of orders of pot stickers too… Nowhere near my goal of 15 orders. Still delicious as ever, though.

The group was over all TIRED. It had been a great trip and everyone was winding down. “Dex” and “Katie” were the last to arrive, at 8:30 Saturday morning to be exact.

Giant six foot dick followed the girls around all weekend.

Funnily, we ran into them right after checking into the Bungalow. They were right outside VIP. “BS, I was just about to call you.” I snagged Katie’s bags. They were ready to party. Who was I to deny them a party experience? The entire group consists of many gamblers and everyone was eager to get their fix.

Here’s a quick hand from William.

We had loose plans to go and see Travis Scott, assuming we would be able to get into Marquee for free. Same scenario I have played out over a dozen times… Turns out Travis Scott was $250 for guys $150 for girls… I am in a Bungalow, ya sorry man out of our control. You can charge it and see if your host will comp it off… I was once again in for the group decision and ultimately we decided to head up to my room and relax, and enjoy some music up there instead.

The night consisted of plenty of shenanigans and I reached out to @44inarow in response to a message he sent me at 20:30 on Saturday. I finally responded at 1:49 to “Come to Cosmo.” He came up to 6578 while we waited for him we ordered some room service. Ate a bit of that and @44inarow arrived and after turning down some Carbone candies (Who does that?) we went downstairs for some more gamble. John and Katie, who was about to gamble for the first time, joined us.

Katie booked a $100 win! She was up $500 though and started to play at $25 a hand and blew through $400 of it… Yikes! Still a win though.

Now my history precedes me when it comes to sticking to my guns, but I had about $2k left of my $5k I was willing to risk before the end of the trip. Some point @44inarow said his good bye and I was with “M” my favorite dealer on the 4-12 shift. I told her to let me know when it was 5:45, because I had a flight to catch. I ended up losing the $2k and pulling another $5k marker… Luckily this time the story has a happy ending. I was able to grow the $5k into $7k and place one last win or lose bet of $500 in the circle and have my 17 hold up against a dealer face card.

BOOM DONE GAMBLING! Host says win was $15k. Actual Cash said $12k. Actual after expenses was closer to $5k.

John and I left the table at 6AM and our car was waiting at 6:15. I ran by Eggslut for one last meal before our return back to reality. Two sausage, two bacon and four orange juices.

I told the bellman we were in a hurry and needed them to the room ASAP. They obliged and were in the room in record time.

We threw our shit in the bags and went down to the already loaded car thanks to a generous tip and D took us to our spot at the airport.

I can admit I was extremely irritable. I was tired, sleepy, exhausted and drunk. I needed sleep and any minor inconvenience was going to mess me up. At the airport SS tested this theory. I did openly tell her I was going to be an asshole and pre-apologized for my behavior.

TSA Precheck remains one of the best $85 I ever spent. Our friends were a solid 15 minutes behind us after we separated for the different screening lanes.

Ahhhhhh as my eyes closed on the exit row just before take off.

    What. A. Trip.

    The END.

Steller TR BS! Loved it, great photos, even Surfers!! I have to admit though...I would have had the same reaction as SS with your little Kodak moment there. When you first posted the pic my heart dropped just thinking about it!
