Ok so first off was trying to figure out where to put this and figured this was an ok spot.

We have a trip planned June 20-26 staying and MB and NYNY.

Looking for a couple of pool days.

MB has their calendar open for reservations but it would appear as if they don’t come with a food and beverage credit.

NYNY doesn’t have their calendar open as of yet.

MGM has their calendar open and it appears that it is 1/2 F&B credit.

Obviously it is so far out but looking for past experiences on different pools with daybeds and cabanas at these hotels.

When we went to Tropicana their daybeds were 100% F&B minimum which was nice but also got annoyed with one particular person that kept coming over to be in shade of our umbrella basically right on top of us. Enough so that I would put the umbrella down because I am passive aggressive like that.

My point I guess to sharing that last part is where is better to maybe be away from people a bit and the best “bang” for my buck?

NYNY pool area is very small. Limited choices.

MB has a nice variety of cabanas at different price points, so you could find something a little more private.

MGM has fun cabanas in the Lazy River area. @Riders had one in a TR a few months ago and seemed to enjoy it a lot. The F/B credit would be a good plus.

Cosmo daybeds and cabanas are 100% F&B credit. I only mention that since you talked about going to MGM so it didn't sound like you had to necessarily do it at your hotel. If you want to keep it in the MGM portfolio though I'd consider MGM Grand then. I've done MGM with the lazy river and that's a good time too. They used to be 100% f&b too, but changed that to 50% last year I think.

Yeah I wouldn’t be opposed to a different Hotel, also not knowing but hoping things will be better in June I knew some hotels were limiting pools to guests.

I've been to both the MGM and MB lazy river cabanas, and they're both great. The MB cabanas, in particular, are a lot more private, especially if you get the ones on the north end (by the convention center and Border Grill).

One thing to bear in mind is that June is a long time away, and at MB, you usually get priority access to the lazy river, but they put that on hold due to capacity restrictions.

MB was nominally limiting cabana reservations to hotel guests, but I was able to talk my way into it over the summer.

Oh, and no, MB does not include a credit. Tip: apparently you can get food delivered from Border Grill to the cabanas, though I did not find out about this possibility until after the fact. The regular cabana menu isn't bad, but it's generic pool food. I do recommend the watermelon slushie, though.
