    Hello all,

I will be staying at Caesars Windsor next weekend (12/21-12/23). I'm from the US and have a few questions if any locals/frequent visitors would like to answer.

    1. My plan is to bring my bankroll in USD and convert it 25% at a time. Hopefully I won't have to convert all of the bankroll over the stay and save on the currency exchange. Is the casino exchange rate competitive with border or other options?

    2. Any nearby restaurants or bars worth leaving the property to check out? I've never been much for clubs but would appreciate any tips on something that should not be missed and I'm fairly open ended on type of food. Does Uber/Lyft work in Windsor?

    3. Any standout restaurants in the casino itself? I'm staying in the Augustus Tower if that matters.

    4. My bankroll assumes craps minimums of $15 with $10 being a pleasant surprise. I haven't been to this casino in several years so let me know if my assumptions are no longer valid.

    1) The in-casino exchange rate will be about the best you can find anywhere, unless you're working with a company that specializes in currency conversion and do it in huge sums of money.

    2) The Keg is a chain restaurant but is very good if you're looking for a steakhouse, and (in my opinion) is within walking distance (https://www.kegsteakhouse.com/locations/windsor-riverside-keg/). A little further away is Bubi's - if you like garlic then they've got a great menu (https://www.bubis.org/). As a side-note, there are more strip clubs per capita in Windsor than anywhere else in Canada, if you're into that sort of thing.. I'm pretty sure Uber / Lyft are in Windsor but I've never personally used them since we always have a car there.

    3) Yes - Nero's is a great steakhouse (in the Forum tower). Spago's is now open in the Augustus tower and is decent. The buffet is actually pretty good too, although in Canada we tend to be a little conservative when it comes to seasoning the food (ie the prime rib doesn't have much salt). Johnny Rockets has good milkshakes.

    4) I don't play craps but on the weekend it's tough to find BJ tables under $25 these days.

    Good luck!
