Looks like CET tweaked the DAL2 benefits. New to the program is 2 night stay in Vegas Suite.
Guess they are hoping you will spend up for additional nights? I wonder what level suite this is in LV.

It could also be a way to discourage guests at this level for asking for suite upgrades from hosts. You offer a low level benefit, to get leverage to deny upgrade requests.

    ASPIRATIONS LEVEL 2:
80,000 TIER CREDITS EARNED IN CURRENT YEAR
    • Getaway with four complimentary nights and $750 airfare credit
    • Companion Card to share your priority service benefits with a friend
    • Four Happy Half Hour High Roller tickets in Las Vegas
    • Complimentary Stay to Atlantis, Paradise Island in The Bahamas
    • NEW! 2-Night Stay in a Las Vegas Suite

I feel like whenever offers have a suite option you only get it if your play generally earns it for you. If you don't normally get one then it is always sold out. Or the "suite" you are offered isn't much more than a large room.

Well this is slightly different since they are offering as a guaranteed tier benefit of DAL2 now. Of course omitted is what days, properties, and level of suite.
If it is treated like the current DAL level room offers, then normally you will not see a blackout or restriction on the DAL trips. Example I recently used my DAL2 trip over NYE for Caesars Palace Augustus tower. This room would typically be blacked out or a high dollar room comp.

I see this as a great benefit if say you could score a higher end suite over a weekend at Planet Hollywood, Caesars, Paris, or Cromwell. DAL2 is tough to justify pursuing since your talking about a lot of coin in for very little benefits, unless you hit those critical tier bonuses.

Like the idea of 2 nights in a suite but I never want to stay anywhere for just two nights... so that means I'd have to move mid-trip.

I just noticed CET pulled the 5000 TR points towards next years status off the Diamond Asspiration Level One and Two.
So no more head start going into 2018. I have pretty much decided to hang it up once I hit DAL 1 this year. Any play will
shift toward my wife's card and bumping up here ADT. Hopeful we can leverage better room comps between the two of us, and pickup
bringing a couple of extra guests into the diamond lounges.

Thanks for bringing that up. I'll be joining you as somebody who plays elsewhere in 2019.
