Changing Profile Name?

    Possibly silly question - is there any way to change my profile name without just starting a new account? I have no idea what possessed me to be so uninteresting umpty-flush-years-ago when I created this account, but I can't seem to find any way to change it away to something maybe less, oh, personal than my name. Maybe my SSN instead. ;)

    I can confirm what @Lousyatcraps said - just send a message to @VegasMonkey and he can change it for you. I did the same thing when I first created my account, which for some reason I used my real name as the username. Some day I plan on joining @BeeeJay for a hookers 'n blow trip so probably better to not attach my name to that :)

    My new name stems from when I first moved here um, yeah, about 30 years ago (!) And I worked with a very very good ole boy Texan, and I asked him once, "I love it here. How long do I have to live here to be Texan?"

    And he said, without a trace of irony,

    "Darrlin'. You can live the rest of your life in Texas. You can marry yourself a Texan. You can have babies and they will be Texan from the moment they are born. But you? You will always be a God Damn Yankee."

    You're not from Iowa are you? Because if you are this is gonna get really weird...

    Nope, originally from New England, spent 1991-2019 in Texas, now a resident of FL. But hoping to have a place back in TX again some day. We lived outside Austin and still have family there.
