    Hey ,

I noticed when I look on the cesears app basically when I select any hotel it’s comped , would it make a difference I book say nobu hotel vs flamingo . Like if I book a more expensive hotel will it effect the prices I’m seeing for future bookings . When I talked to one of the people they said it doesn’t matter but it seems like it would.

Also I noticed it VEGAS I can get 5 nights comped but when I search and hotel outside of VEGAS only the first 3 seem to be , does anyone else notice this also.

In theory if they comp you a more expensive room, they would expect a return on their investment. However, I think it's a small percentage of their algorithm and I've never noticed any effect on my comped rooms. I would take the best room you can get, usually negotiable at check in and may require a little back and forth between the desk and the host on duty.

CET offers are market specific so if you've never played in a market you're trying to book, you may be limited to 3 nts. Your ADT drives your base offers in other markets. I have the same issue and if I need a fourth night, I have to get a host in that market on the phone to do it.

My understanding is that regardless of the room/suite you take, you are expected to play up to that value of the comp you are taking. I've also been told by a host that even if the front desk bumps you up to a large suite, instead of a basic room, you are expected to cover the comp value of what ever accommodations you take. I have decent play and I'm 7*s, but I usually take just a junior suite instead of a large suite. If I'm on my own, I don't even use the space in a large suite. I would rather use the theo I generate on comps like food, beverage, salon, spa, tickets, airfare etc.

I think if you take a room with a larger comp value and don't play up to it, it will impact future offers. It may not immediately, but it will. I've seen that in another CET market where I very low played and then didn't see another comp for a long time.

I see and of course one would assume the comp value of a larger suite vs regular room
    Is much higher?

I agree, our host told us the same thing, we would get less of other offer like concert tickets if we get overcomp on the room. It seems CET casinos have been pretty tight lately, what is your favorite CET casino to play?

I am really glad that someone asked about this. I am going on my first CETS trip in July and staying at Caesars. My friend's host was kind enough to comp me the first night (I never stayed at any CETS properties) and he said that he will review my play at the end of the trip. Does anyone know the expectation for the play per day? I was told by my host by Palazzo that 1 to 3 dollar per spin for 4 hours and max bet on video pokers for 4 hours per day. Is the expectations for Caesars similar? I am currently booked for the Palace Studio which I was told was one of the nicer rooms (not suite).

We used 2 cards to play on $1VP max bet for hours, we played a little more slot lately. I would say you need average of 500 TC per day for a normal room at a cheaper hotel like Rio or Bally's, you would need to gamble more than that for Palace Studio.

I used to stay at CP and I can still get a regular Palace room comped there, but I switched to PH for a couple of reasons.

500 TC is $2,500 coin-in on slots, my average is right around $4,000/day. I just looked at rack rates for a Palace Studio for a couple of dead nights in August and they're the same as an Augustus room. Which makes sense given the size of the room. I looked at dates with higher prices and the Palace Studio was priced the same as Augustus for those nights too.

My $4,000/day coin-in average stopped being enough for an Augustus room at CP over a year ago. Those rooms dropped out of comp availability for me.

So based on all of that, I think $2,500/day is probably on the low side and they'll be looking for closer to $4,000+. I don't know how much of a difference the actual dates makes when it comes to covering a comp. If you're there on cheap nights, you may skate for less.

We stayed at Octavius Premium Room in April, we earned 2500 TC for 2 nights that we stayed. But it was really costly, we were winning $3300 after we earned 1000 TC on the second night, decided to get 2500 TC, loss $3000 of the $3300 that we won, really not worth it to chase 2500 TC to get the 5000 bonus TC.

    Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. For my dates, the rate for Palace Studio and Palace Room is the same, and same as the rates for the Augustus. Between the Augustus and Palace, which one do you prefer? It’s my first time staying at Caesars after more than 10 years and a lot has changed there.

My average coin in a day is about 5000 to 7000 per day but I mostly play video poker. Based on what you described, I think I will probably need more play for the two night comp since the odds are higher for VP.

Those are all good rooms, it probably boils down to your preference of tower location. They're both basically the same distance from the middle of the casino. Augustus will be a little faster to get out to that plaza in front of Caesars.

Personally, I liked Augustus better because there were fewer choke points on the way to the casino or to outside, and I walk fast, lol. Palace, you're all the way at the back of the footprint of the property.

Just some back of the napkin math.

Theo is approximately 50% of earned tier credits. You get about 30% of theo in comps. An Augustus room has about a $200 comp value. The Palace Studio is probably about the same.

You should earn about 1200 TCs for every comped night to cover the $200 comp value. On slots, that would work out to be $6000 of coin in.
