I’m assuming their upping payout percentages for when I arrive on Sunday. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Interesting overheard conversation at breakfast. Two business associates eating next to me. One is higher up. HR calls him to say someone resigned...he immediately calls the person and spent 10 mins trying to convince him to stay...the moon wasn't promised, but they did give him options to come back or rethink staying.the boss then calls someone above him to tell them they gotta fix the situation, but they can't due to Covid-19...the guy quitting lives in.... Canada. He's trying to get his boss to call him now to change his mind. Enough with the eavesdropping, time to gambol.

Not going to lie, if the system issues happened on my trip, I'd just straight up tell my host to expect little to no play from me on the trip until the system is fixed. Not in the sense of threatening them or giving an ultimatum, but just a heads up that it would just be intolerable for me to do that when I slot hop constantly. Not sure they could really blame anyone anyways. I mean what are you going to do force someone to play at one machine all day? For me, even if I tried to give them play, my hopping around would probably result in 10-15% of my normal play anyways, plus I'd just be annoyed the whole time.

Cosmo is not a table players casino. Agreed

Yeah that's completely f***** up...I for one go to zone out and to have a great experience and that kind of nonsense would stress me out. If you can't use the machines properly, they cannot expect you to play there... that's ridiculous! And I agree with the statement to reach out to your host and tell them don't expect my usual play, as you didn't give me my usual experience! Ugh, not fun.

Captain AWOL checking in... sorry for the radio silence. before I get into the good bad and UGLY of the last 24 hrs, I wanted to point out what I found in the mini bar area of the room. I never look at any of the overpriced snacks, drinks etc, but had time to kill this morning due to plain shitty gambling luck. I picked this up because I thought it was some sort of energy drink etc, but it was not in the fridge and was very light...I thought it was a sealed empty. Um, nope....has this been part of the assortment of goodies for the 5 yrs of trips I've made here and never noticed?[IMG][IMG]

Yes - variations of that have been in the Cosmo rooms for a while. We once found a little mini-vibrator on top of the shelves in the closet - pretty sure it came from that can.

Ok, let's start with the good.
All the issues of Monday and Tuesday regarding slots, cashing out tixs were fixed Weds morning. Was able to access free play around noon.
Casino was busy and got busier as the night went on.
    Vegas appears to be back.
Chatted up with lots of folks at the bar where this was their 1st trip here in a long time.
It's beautiful out again this morning.
Today is my last day here, normally that's not a good thing.
    I have a late checkout.

    The bad
    The gambling
I did have do hits, but in most cases it's not worth talking about.

    The ugly
The gambling and the bad luck cloud following me around to every machine. VP, buffalo, all the lightning link games, glitter kitty, and any other game I normally play just slapped me and I pleased asked for another. Perfect example is buffalo gold. Easily dropped $300 with 2 bonuses, playing $3 per spin. Total payout, $10.40. WTF? Rinse and repeat.
Played my $375 in FP in high limit on top dollar, gotta hit something don't I at least something? Nope. Go away dark cloud.

Hit up Aria and PH with similar results, change of scenery did me no good.

Like the music video on my first post
    "She's a match and I'm kerosene"

Been sitting at Chandelier, having a soda for the last hr, typing this out and doing work emails. I got one last hundy in the machine....

Observations... holding a dealt pair of 5s pays off like 5% of the time. Is it just me or do others experience this? They also seem to come up far to often compared to other cards.

Also, so many of the bar tops have sticky or phantom unholds. It's cost me many a paying hand. They work, you forget about the issue, then it bites you. PIA to play the touch screen, but some times that's what you have to do.

Maxed out on uploads I can do, so no more photos until I upgrade on the site. But did want to share that I converted $150 in points into just under $200 thanks to a 4OAK and several FH and flushes. Score!

I've experienced this problem at my local. Makes me wonder if all the sanitizing and cleaning agents used during frequent wipe downs are causing this but it's hard sometimes to slow your roll. Something all head of slots operations need to address.

Moved to sports book to watch a baseball game, and gave back some, but did get to chat up bartender Branden for a while before it got busy. Checked out and now back at Chandelier with bartender Greg. How my last two hours is a profitable one.

Another observation, why does housekeeping always put away the ironing board, dump the water out of the iron, replace my soap every day Etc? Same goes with towels I hang up to dry..on the floor, then yeah replace them. Aren't they trying to reduce waste and expenses? Doesn't housekeeping know who's checking out vs staying...plus luggage still there. Not sure why it bugs me...
