So, I’m going to be in Vegas for our anniversary in August for a week. I got a cabana at the cosmo at the Chelsea? Pool(I hope that’s the quieter one) and I’m a bit confused. So, I booked it on a Wednesday and there were two options one was a special promo cabana for 250 and the other one was a standard for 350. I booked the special one. Anyways, I ended up with paying $250ish with the taxes and tips and service charges. Is there a difference between the promo and non promo? Also, I read that it’s a food and beverage minimum. So, does this mean we have to spend another 195 on top of the 250 i already paid? Or is there another rental fee I should be aware of? I’m just so confused.

Also, what happens if we don’t hit the minimum? It go over it. Thanks!

Hi! My friends and I recently did a cabana at Cosmo Boulevard so I think I can answer most of these for you.

You’re right that the Chelsea pool is the quieter one. The two different fees may be related to the location of the cabanas (meaning only certain locations are included in promo rate). If you want a specific cabana # make sure to request it when you check in that morning between 9-11.

Don’t forget to ask for your fresh fruit platter that is included, and I recommend asking for it early in the day because you can always store in cabana fridge. We didn’t request ours until about an hour before we left, and we weren’t super hungry at that point, so a lot was wasted.

Most importantly, yes the rental fee is already inclusive of the food and beverage, so you don’t have to pay anything extra. If you have trouble meeting the $250, get a drink or two to go and ask for a bucket of Fiji water. Important to note that there are only 2 or 3 waters in the fridge and if you want extra, you will have to pay. Or there’s the self-serve water dispensers available for you.

Our rental was $250 so it came to about $325 with the taxes, gratuity and service fee. FWIW we ended up spending $525 (there were five of us) so we had NO problem meeting our spend!

Yes the promo ones are specific locations. They are shown in green on the map from the Cosmo website.
