    Hey All,

My apologies in advance if this question is a bit silly/unanswerable.I'm staying at Cosmo for four nights in July (First time staying there). I plan on having a gambling BR of roughly $4k +/-. I'll most like play about 50% slot $1-$5/pull with occasional "shots" at higher limit machines, about 25% VP, and about 25% table games. I intend to do almost all of my gambling at Cosmo with the exception of a few hours at an MLife property. What might I expect for coin-in and future comp offers, if any, from Cosmo?

Thanks and apologies if this is unanswerable or has been asked in the past and I'm missing it.

You have to hit the tables hard and at a decent clip to generate anything there in my experiences. They’re much more transparent on how they handle machines. They do the ability to track the exact theoretical loss per machine. Seem to love slot players. Video poker has a much lower edge and you’ll likely lose less and lose more slowly than slots though. As they say, don’t play for comps, play what you enjoy and can afford, if it generates a comp that’s a bonus.

At roughly $1k a day. You’ll need some good variance.

Also what kind of comp would you be expecting to get? Are you ok with the occasional mid week comp or do you want weekends, a wrap around terrace along with some food credits?

Thanks for the response! I'm of course planning on playing what I'm comfortable and enjoying any comps offered. I'm hoping for room comps. I'm fine with weekdays and if they offer weekends + more then I'll be thrilled. At MLife I get 3-4 comp nights (including weekends) with $100-200 FP/RC combo depending on the property.

With a $1k/night bankroll, you should do OK at Cosmo as long as you mind your bet size when you play tables and don't get crushed.

If you say you play 25% tables, of course, it's not quite as simple as saying, well your remaining bankroll for slots and VP will be $750/night.

But if you theoretically did put a hard stop on your table losses at $250/night and had $750/night for machines, you should be fine.

My typical trip at Cosmo has a loss average of around $600/night, all on machines, and I get 4 nights, $200 FP / $200 dining credit. If I played 25% tables, I'd expect my FP and dining credit to probably be reduced some, but I'd still expect to get 4 nights, it might be borderline on the number of nights, but your bankroll is bigger than mine.

It's true Cosmo's comps for tables are a little opaque. But that's partially because there just aren't a lot of low-mid range tables-mostly players reporting about it. I don't recall seeing many comments either way from players at that level. I don't recall too many complaints from bigger table players.

Lose $1k a day anywhere, they'll like you just fine.

thanks for the response! Maybe I’ll take my table games money elsewhere or use the full $1k I’ve got allocated for tables in one session...I’m going for fun so I’ll most likely just play it by ear and not overthink it.

    thanks again!

That sounds like a great idea. Should be able to get a few hours of $25 BJ or $10 craps out of that much if they have it.

Unless things have changed with covid, craps is often $15 or higher. I see $10 sometimes but it’s usually mid week and early in the day.

My offers took a crap when I started playing more table games. And my Theo rarely matched my losses (I don't play like a dummy and had a reasonable bankroll for my bets). Cosmo comps much better for slots Imho, but I love blackjack and craps .

Personally I’d take all of your play elsewhere if offers are important to you. I’ve given Cosmo multiple opportunities for my business and they send me nothing or reduced room rates. My same level of play gets me $1050 Freeplay at any MLife property $500 Resort credit and a suite.

They have enough whales to keep them happy. Think Bigjackpot, NGSlots and other youtubers.

I don't understand, I have as only a Sterling tier, a 1 night comp room offer plus a current bonus 2 night comp room offer... but when I login to my account and attempt to make any bookings with these offers the website wants to charge me the full room rate, totally ignoring the meaning of complimentary!!!! I sent a message through the Facebook page asking what is going on and got a rote answer to phone reservations.
Are the comp room offers unable to be booked online at all???

Did you not hit Sterling at least for a comp night on your drop in? I was an Mlife for many years with Aria and my offers are on par if not a bit better with Cosmo and I wasn't getting anywhere near the freeplay and resort credit you are getting from Mlife.

I had the same issue. Are you trying to book it within the next 14 days ? I was told when I called you have to book the tier free nights 2 weeks out so that’s why they don’t show as comp

Do other dates or room types work? What you selected might be blacked out. There are some restrictions.
