As a question to Cosmo regulars, has anyone received comp room offers into February, March, or April of 2021? My last trip ended almost 3 weeks ago, and normally 2 weeks or so after the end of my trip I'll log into my Identity account and see that a new comp offer has posted, but I just logged in and haven't seen any new offers post yet. I do have a 4 night offer that posted before my trip in early December, and it spans mid-December through early January, but so far I haven't seen anything come through for February and beyond. Hopefully something will show up soon, but the timing just seems to be a little slower than in the past.

I almost feel like Clark Griswold waiting for his Christmas bonus. Hopefully I won't get shafted with a membership to the jelly of the month club :)

On a side note, I don't know if Cosmo has offered this in years past, but a couple of weeks ago a "Level up in 2021" offer posted to my Identity account, and apparently I can earn $400 in Identity play if I earn 60,000 Identity points from gaming in 2021. I think someone else posted this offer in another thread, but with a much higher Identity play amount (the offer is likely customized to average level of play). Out of curiosity, does anyone know if tier multipliers apply to this promotion? If yes, then there might be a very slim chance that I might qualify, if not then there's pretty much no chance for me!

I got an offer at the beginning of December through the end of March.

The windows seem a little different than usual. I had about 2 weeks with no offer (I haven't traveled since November 2019) and had similar worries.

My guess is once your other offer falls off, another will replace it a week or two after that.

@YOleven , I just checked. Current offer 12\17 to 2\24. I imagine you will see a new offer when that expires. I've noticed Cosmo does not seem to give multiple offers....to me anyway. On my last trip, I made gold again. I noticed the companion nights are not listed at the bottom. It says two per year, and I did use two back in July. Does anyone know if these will get added in 2021?

I stayed the first week in October.

I don't know the exact date, but I'd say within 2 weeks I had my usual offer, good through March 10. On Nov 6, they bumped that offer up from 4 nights to 5.

On Dec 15, I got another separate offer with the same terms good Mar 11 - May 5. It's a little unusual for me to get an "extension" this far in advance.

Cosmo is more precisely targeted than MGM or CET and it's hard to predict when a given player will get a new offer or how long the offer window will be. About the only thing I've seen that's consistent is that you do usually get a new offer within a couple of weeks of a stay. After that, it's really hard to predict.

I think it depends on what your player year anniversary date is.

When you're Gold, you get two companion nights per player year. Even if you re-attain Gold, you may have to wait for your anniversary date to pass before they reload them.

The extension of tier benefits through May 1 is also throwing some confusion in there.

I need to call them and find out what my anniversary date is. Although they're extending benefits, they say they are still basing tier on a 365 day rolling schedule. If that's true, my Gold status should have lapsed at the end of July because I didn't make my summer trip. I should have fallen to Sterling based on points earned on my January trip

And then I possibly should have re-upped Gold in October based on tier points earned in January + October and reset my anniversary date to October. Even though the tier point "thermometer" says I have over 20,000 points in the last 365 days, the status indicator on the left side is only counting October points and says I need to earn more by May 1 to reach Gold. So I don't know what they're doing with anniversary dates.

Thanks @Chuck ...that makes sense with regards to the companion night rooms. In that case, I think it is June of 2021. No worries, as I won't need them until July!

My room offer is good through May 26, and it’s comparable to what I’ve been offered my last couple of stays. I haven’t been there since 9/2019 and won’t be going until I’m vaccinated, so I’m crossing my fingers that my offers hold out until then.

I looked back on some of the emails that Cosmo sent earlier in the year, and the message many of us received on April 17th stated that "Your current Tier Status* has been extended and is now guaranteed through April 30, 2021.", which likely explains why you're currently still Gold, and why your Gold countdown shows a date of 5/1/2021. My guess is that with no additional play between now and 5/1, you'll drop down to Sterling on 5/1. Maybe the date on your Gold countdown will update to your anniversary date after 5/1...I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm curious how that will work out in your situation.

Note that there's and asterisk in that statement from Cosmo's email, and the fine print states that "Tier credits will continue to expire based on normal system timing." That said, even during Cosmo's closure, points continued to expire as usual in the rolling 365-day period, as they didn't put a moratorium or extension on point expiration from your rolling 365-day count. That kind of screwed me, as I had a chance to advance to Platinum had an extension been put on point expiration from your 365-day total, but unfortunately it didn't work out.

I've noticed that Cosmo sends offers with varying ranges of valid dates (as few as 28 days to as much as 3 or more months). For example, I tend to receive 12 offers per year, each valid for 1 month, and each offer starts after the previous one ended. I'm assuming the number of offers is some how related to how frequently you visit, how much you play, etc. (Note that I don't redeem all 12 offers, though I'd like to...)

With that said, does anyone who receives monthly offers from Cosmo have anything that extends beyond mid January? My current (and only valid) offer runs from Dec 17 to Jan 13. I'm looking to book again, but I called into casino services and they said nothing in the system beyond Jan 14. :(

I’m not sure of the timing of my offers but after I left in November I had nothing in the system for a couple of weeks then I got an offer out to mid February. I just got an email today for Feb-mid April.
I would think if you have a host, you can pretty much book any dates and an offer to cover the dates will eventually pop up.

My current offer runs from December 17-February 24th. They update monthly as soon as one is used which in my case has been every month. I usually get another about a week after I leave.

Try reaching out to your host..in my experience they can try and make sure your offers align if you tell them when you plan on popping up.

Cosmopolitan wants to fill rooms, restaurants and casino. Contact them and I’m sure they will accommodate.

There are no international visitors or conventions so they need occupancy.

    meh, most.
just thinking aloud, if they would extend tier credits a reasonable amount, considering....,
the rooms, restaurants, and casino would probably fill themselves...

for the hostless who nearly made it, perhaps a bit of a disincentive.

that being said, I think I need to buy some gift cards...
I'm trying to get my friends to invest, 0 risk, I'll buy back, with the companion room carrot.
They haven't quite bit yet, but there's nibbles.

Room offer 1/21-5/26 w/FP and food. Really feel I have made it in the world because my offer is now for five nights instead of four. I am important LOLOLOL. Can't wait to use them on my next trip, whenever that might be... So to answer OP, the beginning date of my new offer was three weeks from when I got home.

Does anyone else have the Anniversary offer? $15 for dining and cocktails? Not sure my host would get the joke if I demanded this be added.

@momnkid I do have the Anniversary offer as well. Also, since Wicked Spoon is closed, Cosmo is now offering a dining credit for the 2 for 1 deal related to tier membership. My guess is both have to be redeemed via the Identity desk.
