Cosmo Offers

I've got a couple offers currently, I believe the furthest out goes through April

I'm in the same boat. Mine Expire November 30th and January 25th and I got the NYE offer by mail and it doesn't show up online. I'll see what pops up December 1st.

 

Just to be clear, it's multiple offers but they both cover different date ranges. Both 5 nights plus FP and F&B credit(generous for my play IMO)

 

I've had lags a couple of times before and it was always when my offer expired in December. At least one year I remember I didn't get the new one until January and that lag actually caused me to skip Cosmo on a trip because the trip was mid-January and I didn't know if I was ever gonna get it.

I'm in a gap right now, I had an offer expire last week and haven't gotten a new one yet.

I think seasonally this is not that unusual. My old offer did disappear on time at least, lol.

But I don't think they've fixed the comp booking engine for 2023 yet and that's been going on six weeks or so at this point.

 

My offer expires January 23rd and the other offer I had expiring Nov 30 is gone this morning with no new offer to replace it. I dont plan on going until June so hopefully I don't lose my platinum perks $250 food credit and comp/companion nights before than if identity becomes MGM rewards fully.

 

Always had one sitting there and on a couple occasions current one expired and it took a week for next one to appear. Host booked me on expired offer one trip.

If you have a host, you can always ask him/her to book a placeholder reservation for June. That won't block a new offer from coming in; once it comes in, you can have them add the code.

And I would book the tier-based comp and companion nights on spec ASAP, ask the host to tack the tier-based comp nights at the beginning or end of the placeholder stay if that's how you usually use them.

I don't think MGM will cancel already-booked tier nights, but they might poof unbooked ones.

 

That’s what we’ve done. Host books the room and then “rebooks” it under the marketing offer once it comes in. Any friendly host will do that.

@Chuck and @bayoubengal My host has done it in the past so I'll reach out to her now. She is excellent so won't be a problem.

 

I did get an offer refresh today. Window is Dec 8 - Apr 26.

Down to 3 nights (last offer was 4 nights, previous ones over the past three or four years were 5 nights).

Can still get up to a One Bedroom (non-FV) which is the usual.
