We're coming down in late May and are wondering if the push pop frozen drink things still exist, and if so, how much are they?

    Paging @claired67 :)

I haven’t been since January so I don’t know. I hope so-they’re delicious. I think the pools have fantastic drinks. And sangria pitchers.

You're in luck! We happen to be throwing a small party at the Boulevard Pool in May and are coordinating with their reservations department right now.

Here's the 2019 menus for pool sippers they just sent to me.

This is for the Boulevard Pool though... not sure if it extends to the Chelsea or not.

I love apple martinis. That sounds so good, but so does most of the menu.

Last year, we had a chicken kale salad that was fantastic at Boulevard.

I do think the Chelsea pool has a different menu. Hopefully I’ll see in about 3 weeks.

Are you renting a couple of cabanas? Would like to have a group there next year. The f&b credit is great.

Yeah. Terrace Lounge and six daybeds.

It is great. It's the main reason we choose it.

I rented a cabana last October and had a blast. I just rented my wife and I a day bed for our trip in May. That menu is looking mighty tasty!

Whip It! sounds like a tasty treat for a warm day

Interesting I had no idea the menus were different. I was wondering how I missed out on these pops. I was there last June but at the Chelsea pool and they were not even on the menu I saw.

I had a menu from last year when I was there... we didn't like the pool so we left, went over to the Boulevard, and applied our credit from the Chelsea to a cabana over there.

But, I still have the menu...It may or may not have changed since last year though... No pops.

We toured it in early March. It's not really like a cabana at all. It's very industrial and not warm and inviting like the cabanas are.

It's more like a space for people to meet, grab a drink, or grab some food in the air conditioning. There's a TV in there and access to a terrace space. They're giving us three high-tops and several cushioned chairs with round coffee tables for relaxing. It comes with 4 lounge chairs poolside.

That's the thing that really bothered us; only four seats poolside for up to the 40 people that the space can supposedly hold. We considered renting one, two, or three cabanas instead or to supplement but the idea is for everyone to socialize and we felt like that would fracture people into groups.

So, after sitting down to talk to the Cosmo cabana reservations, we settled on the Terrace Lounge, along with three premium poolside daybeds, three lower pool daybeds right behind those, and the four loungers that came with Terrace Lounge. The TL will have food, drinks, music, and seating... while poolside there will be access to anywhere from 16-28 spaces + any of the free seating around the pool.

I think total access to the pool was 40 people for the TL and 24 for the daybeds. So, about 64 people.

In conclusion, the Terrace Lounge is great for corporate pool parties or small events but not really good for lounging at the pool. You really need to supplement it with additional seating if you want to lounge at the pool and it ain't cheap to do so!

Thanks very much for the information. I will give some thought to what my group would really be wanting. There will probably only be 16 of us but it seemed cheaper to do the lounge instead of several cabanas and then we'd be all together. However with only 4 seats near the pool I may have to re-think it.

They have one large cabana next to the Terrace Lounge. I think that holds double the standard cabana and you might be able to get 16 in that one. But, still, it only comes with four chairs at the pool.

Seriously... a cabana with a few daybeds is probably what you'll want to do though. The daybeds are somewhat inexpensive.
