Not sure if this has been answered here. If so, i havent found it...

    Terrace Studio (F.V.) King Bed
((not sure if that matters or not))
1.Does the couch pull out into a bed?
2.Can you request a mini fridge, and is there a charge?

Also please if you can think of any other pertinent info for a 1st time Cosmo stay, making the switch from M(iserable)Life. Booked June 9-13. Please let me know. Thank you!!

I have never tried to pull out the couch, but I am pretty sure it does not (just based on the size and shape of the furniture).

No the couches do not pull out. They are currently renovating their rooms so whether you get a fridge depends on if you get a new room or an old one. New ones have them included.

Thanks for the info. I left the room booking duties to my mother who booked 2 Terrace Studios with King Beds instead of 1 King and 1 QueenQueen.

I think you will enjoy your first stay at Cosmo. Great coffee in the morning at Va Benne located in the casino on the check in side. They give free refills. Milos has a great lunch special. Secret pizza is great for a late night snack. If your studio doesn’t have a fountain view check the cost of an upgrade...we’ll worth it. Have fun!

We did spring for the fountain view! I am very excited about that. In my opinion it is that one major wow factor that initially draws people to the hotel, since there really arent any on strip properties that offer a balcony.. Especially a fountain view at that. While I am on this topic...

-Are there any particulars that I nees to know about requesting the location of my room, tower location, best floors, locations to try to avoid, etc...

Thanks to anyone for their input!!

20th floor or above, either tower. Boulevard Tower if you're going to be out walking the Strip a lot, Chelsea Tower if you're going to be cabbing/Ubering a lot or have a car.

I’ve stayed in both towers and agree with Chuck’s advice. The Chelsea Tower is more convenient to the buffet, Va Benne for my morning coffee, and transportation. The Boulevard Tower has most of the restaurants and easy access to the strip. I’ve enjoyed staying in both. If staying in the Boulevard Tower I guess the only thing to be sure of is that the Bellagio sign doesn’t block your view of the fountain. I’ve never had that problem.

Thank you guys so much for all the tips! Someone told me that they are currently renovating..
If this is true, are the renovations spread all over the place right now or are they more confined to a particular section of the hotel?

Last time I was there they were renovating rooms but I didn’t notice or hear anything. They probably close the floors where the renovation is taking place. They may be done by now or almost completed...don’t know for sure.

They're doing the West/Chelsea Tower now, working their way down from the top. They started in January. I don't know if they're doing a couple of floors at a time or what, but they do block off some floors to avoid construction noise. If I had to guess, I'd say they're still working on the upper 1/3rd. The West Tower has a lot more rooms per floor, don't know if they adjusted for that in the schedule.

Thanks so much guys for all the tips and suggestions. Looks like from what you have told me that i will be trying my best to get a room in the Boulevard Tower for proximity to the casino and easy access to the strip. Im traveling with my grandma in tow and she goes angry gambler on us if she cant get to the slots within 10 minutes of leaving the room. My 9yr olds only requests are good view, good pool and good steak. She is a vegas aficionado, I believe this is her 6th or 7th trip and she is very excited about experiencing a new property.

I’ve never understood why people make such a big deal out of the Chelsea vs Boulevard tower. Yes, the Boulevard tower is closest to the strip. But even if you are in the Chelsea tower, it’s like a two minute walk. Also, the other end of the casino is basically at the Chelsea tower elevators, so you don’t have to walk to get to a slot machine either way. Either tower is fine in my opinion.

Before the renovations, they had couches in some of the rooms that pulled out. I once made a reservation for a one-bedroom and needed a room with a pull out couch and was told that I was given one. We ended up not pulling it out. Don't know if any of the renovated rooms have pull out couches but call and see if they do, and if so, whether you can specify a room with a pull out couch. Also, they may still have unrenovated rooms in the Chelsea Tower with the old pull out couches.

Emmas... Thank you so much for the tip. There are 5 of us going on this trip 4 adults, 1 child. I left the booking to my mother and she of course booked the wrong rooms. In fact, she originally even managed to book the wrong hotel, on the wrong dates. Anyway, desired room choices would be the 2 terrace studios (1 king, 1 queen queen). She says since it was her mistake that she'll sleep on the couch. Not sure I feel too great about letting her do that so I was curious about at least having a pull out. The worst part is that she booked through Southwest so I dont even think you can change the room choices at this point. Thanks again, I will call and ask about the rooms that havent been remodeled yet. Is there a big difference between the renovated and old? Looking at peoples videos and pictures prior to renovation it didnt really strike me as a place that was in dier need of an upgrade.

The renovated rooms are very nice, with everything shiny and new. I particularly like that there are now more lights in the bed area, including reading lights. But the rooms were also nice before the renovation. I miss having the microwave ovens from the old rooms.

I would call Cosmo and ask about the pull out couches and possibly changing from a terrace king to 2 queens (there will be an up charge b/c the 2 queens are more expensive). Based on the information, you can then have a set plan on what you may need to ask for during check-in.

I’ve slept on the (unrenovated room) couches many times and slept fine. Also slept on the rollaway and was fine, but there’s an extra charge. But the terrace two queens are more anyways. City rooms have two queens and there’s no balcony but they just seem bigger if there’s three in a room.

If you get a renovated room, the new sectionals are long enough and comfortable enough to sleep on. I don't think any of the new sectionals/sofas have pullouts.
