Doing this for me as well as whoever cares.

    April trip: $12,770/day avg.
Showing a $4,863 loss for this trip although actual losses were much lower. 6 nights of lodging, (6 in wraparound), $300 in food and beverage and over $2K in freeplay.

Edit: Haha, while typing this, I received a new offer from Cosmo. Same as usual, FP increase by $25. So increasing your daily average by $130/day is worth $25.

I would also like that playbook. Think I’m also trending in the 20% loss range.

20%-ish is on the high side for that amount of coin in, but not crazy high.

Playing high-variance slots at a high $/per spin can get you there. Like Cleo II at $20/spin. I dumped close to 2 grand once doing that without even getting a single bonus round.

Are you a sitter like me or flit around like my husband? What's your average bet? Are you only playing slots? Do you take a break when the hits aren't happening? Did you have a happy childhood?

Wait, that last question, you don't have to answer. Sorry, almost finished working my way thru Frasier again LOL.

Further, are you only pushing the "spin" button with your right hand, whilst signing out the word "jackpot" with your left while whistling obscure Russian folk tunes prior to every 4th spin?

When you win are you hollering "Hamanakaku!" before standing up and doing two, and only two, pelvic thrusts toward the machine to your immediate left?

I, for one, make it a habit to smile at two cocktail waitresses but scowl at the third. That's advanced level strategy however so you can probably skip that bit.

    1. My wife and I play together. we roam around.
    2. I have no idea on average bet. I play any and all machines. 2 dollars to 27 dollars. I would say more around 4-5 dollar penny slots. We play no video poker. I play some table games. we mainly gamble and eat and very little pool time. We have trouble taking brakes we love to gamble. We are actually doing a gambling free day this trip where we use our platinum night for the first night so it doesn't hurt my daily theo. How do you manage to get so much play

That's pretty much our day too, but I try to keep the bets low until I start hitting. We play together sometimes but the majority of time we are in the same section but at different machines. We try to both win at the same time but more often than not, I am winning while he loses and vice versa. Thanks to marijuana, we now have no problem leaving the casino floor for a bit, getting high and then maybe going for a walk or enjoying the balcony view.

As for what we play, we are all over the place. My one hard and fast rule is to try any new games that come out and have the potential for a monster hit. My gambler mind believes that these will hit more often lol. It's worked a lot of the time so I'll probably never break myself of giving them a shot. VP in the mix certainly can help but I've had better luck at home on them.

Table game play is usually 3CP down at Casino Royale or on Fremont. I like to have fun while playing and it's hard to relax when you put up a $100 and half is gone on the first bet lol.

Our bets go from .60 (Jim) to $10 (me) but usually stay in the $1-4 range. We use the FP for HL and save all the tickets until the end of the trip. Last time, they helped to pad the bankroll for the final day and we brought most home. We divvy it up among the days of the trip, just fyi.

I think the best strategy for any of us is to find out when @IrishDave is hanging at the bar and just go harass him. Takes time and is altogether fun. LOLOL

Here is a q. Can you use 2 cards at the same time ? Tried it once and my points didn’t seem to climb as expected.

I thought I answered this but I don't see my post.

We both use my card but we all know who puts more points on it. There is usually at least one day where I get on a streak and rack a lot up.

That's weird that your points weren't increasing like you thought they would. Hope it was just a perception thing and you were actually earning what you deserved.

I do play VP at Cosmo but I try not to even look at my points while I play because they accrue soooo slowly.

You can use two cards at the same time and both should earn points. The issue is, WHEN would you see the combined results?

Cosmo has the little display that runs along the bottom edge of the screen of a machine. If both of you are playing different machines at the same time, I think the display on each of your machines is only going to include the play on your own machine.

So let's say your account has 1,000 points to start with. The two of you go to separate machines and put your cards in at the same time. And you both do 500 points and stop, but leave the cards in. I think both of your displays would read 1,500 points. If you both then took the cards out for a minute and put them back in again, I think both of your displays would then read 2,000 points.

Or something like that, I've never really tested it.

Cosmo does have a page on the website where you can see all your activity on a daily basis, so you can check that way.

I did $50k coin in at Cosmo (around $50-$52k) 99% slots and my offers are terrace suite $250 free play and $100 dining credit. But, I’m in the camp of players that get monthly offers and not the quarterly offers.

In comparison, with similar play at mlife properties I am getting all suites including aria and Bellagio with $400 free play and $300 f&b, higher end properties $150 f&b with same free play.

I lost a crap ton at mlife property last time I stayed at Aria, so my offers may be a little skewed if mlife is similar to Cosmo = if my loss ratio was many multiples my Theo. I understand that marketing offers calculated at ONLY losses or wins would be stupid, but I think that for big losses there is an incentive for the casino to offer something extra so the player comes back. I agree that Theo should never be calculated on pure wins or losses but that there is nothing wrong imo with added component of offer that reflect a huge loss (offer based on Theo plus huge loss), which I think is fair given the high edge when it comes to slots especially when playing high limits where you can lose your shirt. No one is advocating for offers to be based on pure wins or losses

That being said, I think Cosmo’s offers are fair but a little short but that might be because I get monthly offers instead of the quarterly offers.
