How does one go about getting a reserved seat(s) on a football Saturday/Sunday. I visited on a college gameday and every seat including bar tops was reserved (although most remained empty throughout the day).

I know Cantor sets aside seats for track bettors but can’t imagine all of them.

I have gotten one through my Cosmo host in the past. So i would start there. And if you don't have a host, I would reach out to the sportsbook manager

I got mine through the host but I will say this on Monday night they had reserved signs all around.

I had mine with my name but all others were just reserved. Bartender told a few guys that they were reserved for vp players so if someone wanted to play they would have to get up.

So if you cannot get 1 with your name and see am empty one with no name on it speak to a bartender. That is of you wanted the seat for vp...

Thanks that’s a big help. Never occurred to me to ask my host since Cantor runs the book. I mostly play VP during games anyway so I’ll plan on asking host beforehand to see if he can help.

I actually wouldn't have considered it, either. But now that I think about it, I believe that Cantor doesn't actually run the sports book as a space, they're just responsible for the betting (sort of like how back in the day at Riviera, you placed your bet through Leroy's but the space itself still was the Riv's). Especially now that it's just part of the casino floor rather than being a closed off room on the upper level.

Well my host had to get the book manager to get my spot locked down... so maybe they have a hand in it? And his email was a cantor not Cosmo email so manager may have last call?

Was it a spot at the bar or a spot at one of the high top tables or little betting cubby/desks?

Bar at a VP machine. I actually requested one with the progressive after the fact and they got it (BTW the progressive meter sucks and no one plays much there.) From Friday to Tuesday prog went from 1335 to 1385.
