Cosmo super bowl party?

Yes I know a few people who received them. I'm platinum too and didn't get one, but I was not expecting to.

 

That's odd. Could be another sign that Cosmo is not the place for you?

 

Maybe they just sent them to people who have been there for SB in the past?

 

I didn’t get one,nor did I expect to as I didn’t give them hardly any play in 2017. I imagine with the caliber of players they get in to Cosmo and how popular SB weekend is that the tickets would only go to the higher Theo players regardless of tier.

I did get an invite to Excal, Luxor or NYNY SB party which is very odd I barely play mlife.

 

I got that same invite for MLife (add Monte Carlo) which I thought strange since I don't think I played there at all last year except for a little play at Bellagio.

I also got the M Resort party invite.

 

Actually yeah MC was on mine as well.

 

Did you attend? Maybe they take names off the invite list of they don't take advantage of the offer

 

I got the invite to Wynn’s Super Bowl party last year but didn’t attend (recently had a kid) and didn’t get any invite this year. Although it’s not Cosmo there might be some truth to not getting it if you don’t attend or ever show interest and they take your name off some list as I have given them steady play.

 

All invites are purely based on gaming activity over a certain period of time. I wish we were smart enough to not invite people that have turned down the invite 7 years in a row - but we aren't there. We basically draw a line in terms of gaming play, and those above whatever that particular criteria is for that particular event get the invite.
We also factor in available seats and how many guests it takes to fill those seats. IE... we have 1,000 seats for our Big Game party, the overall average for tickets given per arriving guest is 2.5 seats and we expect a 4% response rate, so we can only mail to 10,000 guests in our database of several million names.

It's a simplistic view of how it works, but that's pretty much how it works. If you're interested in attending & didn't get the invite, it never hurts to ask your host. The worst they can say is no.

Very much this. So many questions (not just about Super Bowl) here could be answer by someone asking their host. A couple of years ago before the first time I came to Vegas for the Super Bowl I asked my host about the party at the Cosmo because I hadn't seen anything. I was told my play wasn't at the level for the party. I appreciated the direct answer and made plans to attend a paid party somewhere.
