Cosmo system upgrade on Tuesday

Talk about a bad time to do upgrade with g2e in town

 

It certainly wasn't my first choice of dates, but it has to get done and if it wasn't that date it was getting pushed to mid 2017.

Everyone should be at g2e until it ends around 5, and we hope to be fully functional around 4 pm so I do not anticipate much of an issue in that regard.

Any player benefits for the upgrade or mostly stuff on the back end?

 

I'm don't fly in til Tuesday. Will be heading straight to G2E with my host ( I think) after I get checked in. So probably won't make it to Cosmo in Tuesday at all anyway. So sounds like a perfect day to get it done to me! Lol

 

Almost entirely back end, but the major player enhancement that I am looking forward to will be in game bonusing similar to what one of my neighbors has the ability to do. (Earn points, thermometer climbs, hit the point requirement, play a bonus game for Identity Play).

We will also get an upgrade to our tournament software, so if we run daily tournaments again, it won't have to be so manual- the scores will just populate a database. The last 100 days of tournaments (final day is tomorrow) took a lot out of my team.

I'm not checking in until Thursday so I think Tuesday is perfect. I've never played at a casino that had in game bonusing. Will that feature start up on Wednesday? I'm sorry about the impact the daily tournaments had on the team, but even though I never won they were fun, I hope they return soon.

That sounds intriguing! You had me at bonus game! Lol Have you any word on World of Wonka slot installation in Las Vegas? I was most looking forward to playing that and so disappointed Borgata got the exclusive for awhile. I was curious which strip casino was getting it first and figured you were hoping it was Cosmo!

 

Played this setup at another chain of casinos. Was interesting. Probably shouldn't make the minimum prize 50 cents worth of slot play in points though like I got once. I preferred getting $25 FP instead. Miracle luck on that one, and I also think it was the top available prize since games were awarded fairly frequently (every $133 coin-in).

 

I've heard a rumor that World of Wonka gets installed at Venetian tomorrow.

 

I hope so! Will be hard to get on I'm sure if it is installed today, but I'll stalk it for an opening. Lol

 

I arrive at 11am on Tuesday (yikes, that's tomorrow!!!) and was planning on hitting the floor for the afternoon. Rethinking my plans now as I have slot ADD and jump around quite a lot. I was planning on doing G2e on Wednesday, but if I can muster up the energy when I arrive (after starting my day at 3am east coast time) I'll switch to Tuesday. Otherwise, I guess there will be some quality terrace time for me along with forced bankroll management
