How do the host's that are employed by a specific casino get compensated? They don't get a percentage of losses, do they? Any info would be appreciated. Im just curious.
I thought it was more of a commission on the amount of gambling they bring in, but I could be way off base with that thinking
If it’s anything like the sales people at my consulting firm they have a budget or target for the year. They have a modest base salary but have bonuses tied to meeting and exceeding the targets. I’d image hosts have a similar structure and it’s tied to theoretical loss. Probably bonuses tied to getting all new clients plus maybe bonuses for bringing back dormant clients.
