Double-booking - per partner or per hotel?

If I double-book two offers, does my overall play affect comp level based on the property or the company?

I have a trip coming up and am already booked through Mlife, but got an offer for a silly amount of freeplay/room at the Tropicana through Pinnacle. I'm tempted on the double-book, but let's face it - not going to give a whole lot of play to the Tropicana and it's not going to turn into my hotel of choice when in Vegas. Would taking the comp but not playing enough just ding me at the Trop, or would I potentially be messing with my 'local' comps?

My guess is it would affect comps at other resorts under the same umbrella. If you do decide to double book, book Trop for the minimum number of nights possible, and then check out after one night.

I've done this, and never got dinged on my local comps here in STL. Problem is they spread the freeplay/resort cedit out per night at the trop. Mine was divided by 3 nights and it's a pain to trudge over there every day to get 1/3 of it. If you book the M resort they give it all at once.

Valuable to know! You're right - not sure I want to bother hoofing it over there every day for a portion. :)
