If a table is offering 6-5 on a blackjack, would it be better to double down if the dealer is showing 7 or less?

I have never heard of that strategy, although I have sat at some WILD tables where people split 20s against a dealer 10 at a 25.00 min table lol. Always take the blackjack win, and always consult the wizard of odds for the best advantageous play.

    Because it's mathematically incorrect. Haha

Doubling vs.6 is about 2/3rds (0.667) of a unit versus 6/5ths (1.2) of a unit for taking a BJ. *pun intended* lol

Yeah, there are some weird edge cases in blackjack tournaments where doubling down on a blackjack might make sense. But otherwise Trig is right, don't ever do it.
