Has anyone else noticed the Dragon Link games bonusing less than they used to?

The last few months, I haven't been able to get many bonuses, and when I do they usually pay very little... These machines used to always treat me pretty well, and obviously I know it's all random, but it seems like something changed.

I've noticed this at Encore Boston, Caesar's LV, Cromwell, Bellagio LV, Flamingo, Mohegan Sun CT, and MGM Springfield...

The other day I went through $200 at $5 bets ($1 denom), and didn't get a single bonus...

Just curious to see if it's just my luck, or if anyone noticed the machines tightening up

That's about right for my local, on more than one occasion I've run $200-400 through at $5 or less and never gotten a single bonus.

I bonused on every machine at Aria (a bank of 8) on my last trip - in a span of one hour before 7AM. I was betting nickels at 2.50.

On one of them I retriggered an amazing 5 times.

I call that variance. There’s times I can’t lose on those machines but then there’s times where there isn’t a bonus to be seen. Video slots in general are higher variance.

    I call it entertainment. LOL

I personally play slots on 4 day vegas trips for entertainment and definitely move on from a machine if it doesn't do something within the first 10-15 spins. We each have our own way of playing - this just happens to be my way.

There's the diametric opposite method that NG Slot uses - he pours $5,000 into the same machine - and either walks away up or down. I could never keep feeding a machine that long - at any bet level. But it works for him and I have no issue with him doing it - I actually enjoy most of his videos.
