    We watch the fountains all the time, morning and night. Seen a lot of things including watching all the police activity the night of the shooting. I can't imagine watching this unfold and not being able to alert or help in time. Sad indeed.

    And a reminder for yourselves and children that water can be dangerous and needs to be respected no matter where you are.

    They probably should install life rings around the perimeter of the fountain. Come to think of it, I find it odd they don't have safety equipment around such a large body of water.

    There are life rings. Pretty sure I've seen them over by the entrance to the Caesars walkway thing. I'm sure in other places too

    Also note people(mainly kids) can drown in just 2 inches of water

    Last time I was at Cosmo was the first time I noticed there's a net over the pool area at the Jockey Club. Not for people obviously.

    Yikes. Jeff and I were talking about this exact same subject last time we were there.... Id like to believe zero but ...... and such a sad and scary incident for all involved. :(
