Thanks for that. Not sure why I am nervous about it, suppose I am just used to the current crowd I play live with so testing my skills against more serious players could just out me as being useless haha!!

Anyway, hope you have a great time and looking forward to reading your TR.

Took a while to get our room at encore, but it’s beautiful! After a shower and getting unpacked we are off out to see what the linq area has to offer. Hoping to get some $10 blackjack in tonight, slots at the Wynn have not been friendly so far!! [IMG][IMG]

Decent night of gambling, just about in profit. Blackjack and electronic craps was kind, slits again not so much! Lots planned tomorrow, happy to hit the hay after being up for 25 hours and my feet are in bits! Will be Uber’s tomorrow! [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Sounds as if you hit the ground running. Get some rest, wrap those feet and good luck the rest of the way. Maybe find a place to get a foot massage? I know it really helped me one trip when my feet were howling for relief.

Excellent! Presidential is my go-to, though their drivers can be a little iffy -- they have an annoying tendency to demand tips even when included in the reservation fee.

Just FYI, though it varies depending on destination, I've been finding that traditional taxis are cheaper than Ubers within the resort corridor. For example, Aria to Caesars is usually $9-10 (including an overly-generous tip) in a taxi, whereas in an Uber it's often $10 plus tip.

So today started with brunch at mom ami gabi. We used a Lyft to get there and would highly recommend them! MAG was Excellent as usual, server was a bit pushy but great brunch and view. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

We’ve been doing quite well on electronic craps but still can’t make myself try it for real! For anyone that knows what they are doing, I’m betting the pass line with odds, 2 come bets with odds and then the field. Does that sound ok?

We walked on over to the bellagio, the conservatory at the moment looks amazing. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

We took a Lyft back to Encore, spent around half an hour round the pool as it was really windy today. I then played poker for an hour, ticking off the Wynn from my list and making €75.

After getting changed went on over to Wing Lei. Outstanding from start to finish. We had the pot stickers and beef shank with pigs ear to start. Then general taos chicken and beef with balsamic chilli. Loads of food and for such a high standard I can’t believe how much food they give you! Well worth the $200 plus tip including 4 cocktails that were good! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

We then went and watched the duelling pianos in encore and had a bit of a gamble. And hit my first near $100 on slots (we are definite low ballers in slots) [IMG]

    Thanks Britney! Haha

Going downtown tomorrow night, looking forward to the Change of pace. Tomorrow will be a drinking day!

Isn't every day a drinking day in Vegas?? :D

Nice hit on Britney! That's one of our favorite games to play while we're drinking lol.

As far as your craps strategy, I like it! You m may get some flak from craps veterans because the field bet has a higher house edge than your pass and come bets but it's still way better than most slots and it's fun.

Yeah, I'll toss down a field bet every now in then if someone's on a hot streak, or I'll use it as a one-roll dealer bet when I don't have them on the line, but it's not one of my go-to bets. Overall, you'll get much better value from the pass and come with odds.

Thanks so much for the Wing Lei review! Can't wait to try it in June. Is that desert tower all the choices or something I can order as a desert sampler? Yes I love desert that much

It wasn’t even bought! Just gifted at the end of the meal. Great service and great touches throughout, highly recommended it. Last time we were here we went to Jasmine and my wife raves about it. She thought Wing lei was better

So I’m a bit behind! Not much to report on the gambling front. Unfortunately, pretty much treading water, no significant losses or wins.

We at at triple George grill downtown which was great. Lovely place! Can’t say I was particularly enamoured with Fremont street after that. I did play some $5 craps though which was fun and more confident giving it a proper go now.

Yesterday I was out for the day playing poker, which went ok, lost $20 in 4 hours. Then my wife wanted to go to Vanderpumps cocktail garden. It was good, think it’s gimmicky but the drinks were good and the servers we’re fun.

We ate at PF Chang’s on a whim, food was good! And then we went to see the backstreet boys, which I loved. I’m not even embarrassed to say I’ve always liked them and they were really good, great show and it was a fun concert. I’ll upload pictures down the line!

Today we have Hells kitchen and Picasso, and hopefully a final run at making some decent cash. Both of us are still within our first days buyin, so we’ve got some playing to do!

Hell’s Kitchen, impressed. Cocktails are good!

We got scallops and lobster risotto to start. Beef wellington and I got the hells kitchen burger for main. Wow that’s spicy, but good!
