I should’ve taken pictures on Saturday. The outside of Park MGM is almost done. You can actually walk in a regular door now

Nutella is disgusting, but everything else sounds great. I don't see how sampling 50 kinds of wine before buying a bottle could help though.

Definitely interested in checking it out. Park MGM needs something to make it more appealing, that’s for sure.

I respect your opinion but I was texting @tringlomane when I was there that I don’t mind it

Looks like something that might get more ppl into park mgm's doors. During the whole construction progress I feel like it hasn't been easy.

Was just passing through today, it looks pretty good. I like the outside seating and it's just an absolutely massive space. I think it's a slightly odd concept for the Strip, but I'm nonetheless looking forward to it.

So it's funny you mention this, I was just talking with a friend of mine who's familiar with Roy Choi's places and was very skeptical about Best Friend. He's great at the food truck concept, but apparently his standalone restaurants can be a bit hit-or-miss. NoMad Restaurant is fantastic, though, as is NoMad Bar. At the former, I'm a big fan of the duck breast; at the latter, the "breakfast burrito" is far better than any breakfast burrito has a right to be, in no small part because of the spicy chile.

This is a wrong opinion. :p

I've been to the Eataly in Chicago, and it's a cool concept. The Chicago location I'd say is mostly a grocery store with restaurants throughout. Will the Vegas location mostly be eating locations? It does seem strange to have a grocery store on the strip. I certainly wish there was an Eataly in my city near my house.....

That's what the NYC location is like, as well. I have a feeling that the Vegas location is going to be at least somewhat similar -- it's smaller than the other locations at about 40k square feet (Chicago is about 60k, and NYC is about 50k), but that's still pretty gigantic. To put things in context, the entire Monte Carlo casino floor is only about 100k square feet, so a 40k space is pretty substantial.

I swung through and thought the same thing. It's also somewhat confusingly laid out, and the lines were crazy. It's definitely not a place you can walk into for the first time and figure out exactly what you want -- the best move is to treat it like a buffet and browse through before you start ordering. That said, it's great to have it there. I think this now makes Park MGM "complete" (with the exception of that overpass they're building out front).

I tried it out myself on Sunday. I agree the layout is a bit overwhelming at first but once I walked around and checked it all out it made more sense

I know it was a busy time but getting a seat is quite a challenge. It seems like some people grab tables and just “hang out” for a while but it seems like there should be more seating. I was there way past dinner time as well and was still busy.

Had pasta from the pasta station and it was amazing. Would defiantly go back only complaint was the portion size was small and it ended up being a $30 snack and I had to eat again later.

They do take M life points/comps too.

I tried to do room charge saturday they said it didnt
Work when they tried it at the first place and it was such as a zoo in there I didn't check at the other places we tried.

It was a klusterfuk and a half on Saturday but on Sunday when we walk through it wasn't near as crazy.

The round big bar doesnt open til 4pm so we found that a good spot to stop and grab a seat to eat.

I think when the weather is nice they are going to have more tables outside as well so that will definitely lessen the crowds inside
