We visited just under a month ago now and we both played on my wife's card there, accumulating about 15000 points in a few hours (which seems like a lot to me).

Here's the first offer she received via email today:

    Yeah, no thanks.

Just got the same offer. I haven’t been there yet, but I plan on checking it out next weekend.

That is interesting. I was there for two nights over a month ago and earned approximately 25,300 points and have not heard a thing from them.

We didn't play a lot at all when we stayed there for a couple of nights and we received the same offer, but there was minimal F&B and FP included as well.

I visited Resorts last month and played about an hour+ of video poker We did a lot of touring around and had dinner at Viva, Garcia's Mexican restaurant....we had a very good meal. The chips were the only thing I didn't care for and the snapper was outstanding. Service was excellent.

Overall, I thought the property was really nice and inviting. The things I didn't care for were minor. I intend to stay there at some point. I have a 12 day upcoming trip and have 2 nights not booked. I was debating among Circa, Resorts and Venetian. I haven't stayed at Venetian in 10 years due to VP changes and tried to call 2x and no one answered the main number for 30 and 40 minutes, respectively. I intended to talk to casino marketing about the dates. I didn't want to be "hosted" knowing my play wouldn't cover back-end comps. I really didn't want to stay there anyway lol.

I was going to reach out to Circa and Resorts the beginning of Sept. to see what they would offer. I toured and played at Circa last trip, also, and liked the property. Being a sports fan and VP player, it's my kind of casino...I also like downtown and don't seem to stay there as much as I'd like to. Oh, and lobster fried rice was excellent at the Asian restaurant, 8 East.

I received the 50% off room rates as noted in the first post and ignored it. This week I received an email informing me I was "offer match eligible" :) I called, left a message on a rep's voicemail and also sent one of my offers as instructed in the email. They indicated it would take up to 3 business days to review and respond to submissions. They had 32 entries for the terms and conditions! Nothing too monumental; seems most pertained to people "editing" offers.
No call back but I am not expecting one from the "Resort Marketing Executive". I did have a list of questions but, I will be satisfied with them matching my Wynn offer that I submitted and a nice room for (2) nights.

I think it's highly likely they'll be expanding and upgrading their offers. I don't sense that business is brisk and what they expected. I am only going by what I saw and have read. Had there been time, I would have returned and spent more time because I liked the atmosphere and newness.

I started this post to give info on a Resorts offer to readers but, I am going to pretend it constitutes as a trip report (because I feel guilty I have never posted one here)! I really appreciate the info and entertainment I get from posters at VF.

I received the match email, submitted my mlife offers, and they did respond. It took more like a week. They basically matched my Bellagio/Aria comp and offered 4 comp nights with $200 freeplay and $100 resort credit. They didn't say anything about waving fees though. I was kind of hoping they would beat my mlife offer to incentivize me to come over rather than just matching it. The offer was for Conrad. I would have preferred Crockfords, but I guess they're suggesting that Conrad is on par with Bellagio/Aria base rooms and Crockfords in more like the Sky Suites?

We visited Resorts World on our last trip and signed up for the Genting card, but I only put in like $20 into one machine, so I didn't expect much in terms of offers. It was nice. I'm just trying to find a time we can take advantage of the offer. The match is only valid through the end of December, and we already have labor day and xmas trips booked with mlife, and I'm not super incentivized to change those with their match offer. The casino was nice, and there were some restaurants that caught our attention. The food court was a disappointment honestly, in terms of food quality. We were super excited to try it.

    UPDATE:
An International Mktg Exec replied and they'd love to have me lol

She matched my Wynn FP of $850. She reserved the Crocksfords Hotel. Here's the provisos on the other parts.... my room and resort credit (600.00) and I quote:

I will be happy to book a Crockfords Superior Room for 2 night checking in xxx for you and will be able to match the Freeplay. However please keep in mind the complimentary room accommodations and Resort Credits will be pending based on your play, that being said the expectation is that you will play up for that level.

I read the latest terms/fine print again and noted that "or" was used. "11. Offer elements that will be considered for match, but are not necessarily guaranteed are: Complimentary Nights, Dining or Resort Credits , and/or Free Slot play"

At that time, there was not much feedback from people who had submitted matches, so I believed they were not matching all aspects. I told her to book and she added the following to the confirmation info:

"Please note Complimentary accommodation will be based on your play for resort credit" which makes no sense to me. I am thinking it could be due to her being foreign which is understandable.

Since these email exchanges ( about 3 weeks ago) , I have read some results of others and ALL have included Room, Resort Credit and Free Play matches. So, I think it's due to one of two things; she is interpreting the offer differently than her co-workers or the higher FP puts a person in a different type of offer. I did not see any responses to this offer by people who had more than $450.00 FP.

So, there's my experience and I haven't decided what I am going to do. I have lost my enthusiasm as far as staying there. I have had experiences where I stayed at a "new" property and was offered a comped room with the understanding play would be reviewed for backend comps and I am fine with that. Not only is the room cost based on play, they can't tell me what the nightly cost/value is.....who's to say they won't say "600.00" night?

At the very least, I will write her to ask why I am different :)

They won't, darn it :-( Are you going over NYE?

My trip started as a girl's w/e at Wynn for a Lionel Richie concert, along with a few nights at Cosmo. Then, the NFL schedule came out and the Bears play the Raiders on the 10th....no way was I missing that! Then, the VGK debut on the 12th and I decided I shouldn't push it, although I was (and am) tempted!

Yup. Wife and I are going to be there Dec 29-Jan 2 (it’ll be our first trip together out of the country since 2019 so she’s really looking forward to it).

My host put me up in a suite at Crockford this weekend. I've heard some mixed feedback so I'm very curious to experience for myself.

I sent two emails asking RW for match offer with my CET offer of $4000 in FP and haven’t heard back. I also told them I have a players club at RW Catskills and they can look up play history.…

Heck even my generous host at The D said that’s a tough offer to beat. He can’t even come close. Lols

You got me curious about my reservations, so I went to look and it has the same wording. Now makes me wonder if I'm going to be charged a crazy amount if I don't play enough.

Where did you see this wording? I couldn't find it in the email from Naomi MacPherson (Loyalty Marketing Specialist) who gave me the match, or in the confirmation I received for my comp stay. My offer is much less - up to 4 nights at Conrad with $200 FP and $100 RC - so maybe that's why?

Follow up after emailing my contact at Resorts World and here is her response...

"If you decide you don’t want to play this trip, we will give you discounted rates total of $3,729.68
Usually, expectations are minimum of 4 hrs of play per day with minimum average bet of $35 for slot player, and about $350 for tables. And normally that will cover the suite and some F&B."

I tried to get them to match a Wynn offer since I wanted to experience RW. I got a reply saying I wasn’t eligible since I didn’t receive a special email. Then a few days later I got an offer for 50% off my next stay. Nah I’ll pass.

I had the same experience- they wouldn’t match because I wasn’t on their marketing list and didn’t receive a particular email offer. Pity - would have stayed there in two weeks if they would have matched.
