i booked an offer from fire keepers in michigan which gave me 3 nights comped plus 100 free play.

i was assigned a host at check in and went about my business.

    i ended up with

6 hours of dice at 160$ average

    27000 points video poker

plus i achieve "gold" card status

I had a blast but was wondering what my theo would have been.

i had about 400$ taken off of my bill . which was my whole bill......

my main question is how much did i leave on the table as far as comps??????

plus a great dinner at buddy v's

a fair dinner at the Yardbird.....

had a blast i am sure i will be back..

usually a station casino player and always had a rental car , this is the first time in over 100 trips with no car.

thanks....should i email my host and ask him my theo???? or

can someone guesstimate it for me/

The THEO from points is easy to calculate at V/P as it is based on THEO.

For VIdeo poker, the first 20,000 points you earned were at the base card level which awards 10 points for each $1 of THEO earned, so that portion was 2000 THEO. The next 7000 points you earned were at gold level, which awards 12 points for each $1 of THEO, so that works out to 583 THEO. So total THEO from the Video poker was 2583. What I don't know is the THEO calc on the craps play!

Aside from the craps play, the big missing number for what may have been left on the table is what the suite value was that they would have used for covering the comp nights. Some hosts will give THEO, but often they prefer to only give average bet and hours of play, not sure why given their points program is so transparent.

Sounds like you enjoyed your trip, hope it generates some good offers for you!

    Craps:

Conservative (I think this would be pretty much the bare minimum you should expect):
    $160/hand x 1% theo x 60 hands/hr x 6 hours = $576 theo

    Generous:
    $160/hand x 1.5% theo x 100 hands/hr x 6 hours = $1,440 theo

so video poker is 2583 add dice about 1000 equals 3583 and they picked up 400$ of food and booze

does that mean i could have charged 3100$ more to the room??

for instance spa services and food and booze etc??? and they would have comped it all????

Any property will only comp a % of Theo- I'd guess VP on the lower end maybe 25% (just a guess), at other places could go as high as 40%. That puts comps maybe $875-$1400. If you were there on a stay, the biggest chunk is going to come from your room costs.Rack rates can be 300/600/1000 per night. Depending on where your room costs were, that could take up a good portion of those available comps. Its possible you left nothing on the table at all for your stay, depends on how much the nights were valued at.

Spa services and tips won't be covered by comps at VP or anyplace else usually.

Yeah about $1,000, maybe a little more, in total comp value. I have no idea what kind of comp value V/P puts on its rooms.

But let's say it was close to $200 a night, that's probably a little high, but who knows. You got 3 nights at $200 each, plus $400 in room charges. So about $1,000. You might have left a little on the table, but maybe not much.
