The cocktail waitress had the best comments.

This is it. And it's a huge obstacle that may not be surmountable.

The Uinversity Instructor: "Vegas is still going to be a sad place a year from now. Six months from now, big companies will be filing for bankruptcy unless there’s a miracle.”

Definitely informative. The article sums up my admittedly scattered thoughts on the virus and it's effects on Las Vegas.
I run the gamut from cautious optimism to default resignation on whether the town fully returns to what it was for visitors like me. Gotta hope!

    Can't agree more.
For so many people (even for a hardcore gambler like myself), the energy, the craziness and the escapism is the draw.
Without it, Vegas just a bunch of stupid slot machines, which can be found almost at any place nowadays.

Venetian Opening June 1, description of Table Rules

To ensure a pristine Venetian Clean experience, we utilize dedicated staff to disinfect our casino areas around the clock, including table game areas, slot machines, electronic kiosks, and chairs. Our casino chips are disinfected at each table approximately every two hours, with additional sanitation procedures in place throughout the day. Cleaning protocols are also in place to address the ongoing sanitation of table rails, dice, cards, card shoes, shufflers, roulette wheels, table game podiums, blackjack discard holders, and toke boxes. In addition, slot machines and chairs are arranged to allow for appropriate distancing, and table games have a maximum number of chairs per table, under current guidelines from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Chair limits are currently three players per blackjack table, six players per craps table, and four players per roulette table. Also per these guidelines, guests will be asked not to congregate around slot machines, table games, or at the sports book.
