Me and my friends both gets comp (free nights , FP , RC). We want to go together and stay at one room. Do both of us requires to book separate rooms in order to redeem our FP & RC ?

Is there way around it not to book 2 diff rooms and be eligible for the comp?

I've never done it, but if you don't pay resort fees usually the casino would be stupid not to allow you to stay in one room and still give you your individual comps! They could have another room open to sell to someone else and you are still there staying and playing as you normally would. If you have a host just email and ask them. If not I'd suggest just asking someone in guest services. All they can say is no. Lol

When Hubby and I both have FP offers CET gives each of us our FP. He just has to be listed on the reservation with his players card #. There are some offers they can't do this, i.e. free show tickets but FP was ok.

I don't think I've ever seen anybody say they did this at MLife, but I'd be shocked if they didn't give you at least the FP. The Resort Credit part I think would be trickier because you have to charge to the room. I'd be a little surprised if they had the capability to make that automatically work correctly (2 sets of RCs on a single room).

Doesn't seem to be much downside to just booking a 2nd room and only using it for charging one person or the other's RCs.

I agree. If you don't have to pay resort fees, why not just book the second room and get all of your goodies without any hassle?

I just contacted VIP services at 2 MLife properties and they both gave me the same answer.

What we can do is spilt our days for the trip. For example if I'm going there for 2 nights : I book trip for first night and he book a trip for second night and they can merge our accounts together when we both arrived.

This policy and procedure is quite dumb IMO. I can see mistake waiting to happen at check out.

I'm just gonna go ahead and book our trips separately and not staying at the room. Try to free up occupancy rate for MLife but I guess they don't know how to do business.

They make their system way too complicated

Clearly the PGP is still somewhat of a work in progress.

I don't blame you for booking the rooms separate, because as you stated, the MLife way would most certainly end up with a mistake at check in/out. And nobody wants that headache.

However, would their idea of having you each book 2 nights and merge the reservation benefit you in any way? Specifically, I'm guessing you may get better back end comps because you wouldn't have to cover as many comp room nights before the backend comps start kicking in...

    Just a thought.....

Every Corporate offer I've seen the last few cycles has a 2 night minimum, and that seems to get enforced accurately by the website. The only property-specific offer I've had that let you book a single night was MGM Grand.

If you're only going for two nights total, now I understand why you want to don't want to each have to book 2 nights separately.
