The free play goes live the moment you check in. Sometimes the players booth has to flip the switch though. Once live, you have 30 days to use it. IF you book another trip in that 30 days, whatever free play you didnt use is lost. And the free play from the future will take its place. So it is use it or lose it.

Even though you did not ask this one. You earned that free play based on past play. You are on the clock, earning comps, during your stay. If you save a little free play for after you check out. You will start a new gaming day. And if you are just playing off your free play, you will trash your averages and future offers.

IE, You stay for 2 nights. That is a 3 day trip. Your ADT to them (how they base your offers) is the average of those 3 days. If you play $3,000 of coin in per day, your ADT is $3K per day ($9K div 3 = $3K PD). If you activate your free play later on, and trigger another gaming day but just play the free play or small money. You are now $9K div 4 = $2.2K per day. You made yourself look like a smaller player, and your offers will go down.

 

It's 14 days now.



For the typical player, ADT doesn't really matter at MGM, you can spread your play however you want, all they care about is total trip theo.

There's times I play heavy the first couple of days, don't play at all the next couple, and then just play off my $60 or whatever Slot Dollars on my last full day. Never seen a difference in my offers doing that vs. using the Slot Dollars during one of the heavy play days.
