But I forgot my freaking phone !!! Hadn't been to Fantasy Springs (Indio, CA) in a minute so we headed out. Both had $25 in weekly FP + $25 food credit. As I recall, it went something like this...

    - Fu Nan Fu Nu / Had some nice runs on this machine in the past, but tonite it was not in the cards. Couple of decent line hits and a Minor jackpot trigger for $60, but this was a slow grind overall including burning my $25 FP. Down $100.

    - Money Ball / Hit the Money Ball feature, then 9 Free games (including another Money Ball feature, then a 14 Free game bonus. Started with $100, got it down to about $70 when it warmed up. Cashed out at $200.17, so I'm now up $.17 !!!

    - Rising Fortunes / Started progressive betting at $.88, to $1.76 to $2.58. Hit a respin for $98. Noticed I'd earned another $20 in FP, so bumped bet up to $5.28 and hit the respin! Even better, 5 of the 6 triggers were at $5.28, so I was starting at $26+. Hit 2 yellow and 2 green coins for a feature total of $298. A few backup spins and cashed out at $400. So now I'm actually up $300 !

Took a break and went and grabbed dinner at their pizza counter. The pizza is decent, but the minestrone was pretty bland.

Had seen the top of a row of Lock It Link Superwheel machines as we had walked to get the pizza so we doubled back to those. Since I was up I got a bit aggressive, betting $2.40/spin at the $.02 denomination on Eureka Blast. Hit a respin for $50 fairly quick and noticed I'd earned ANOTHER $20 in FP. So activated that and upped my bet to $3.60. Hit the respin again, including a Superwheel spin. Got another $82 on the respin, and $300 on the Superwheel. Now up in the $500+ range

    - Shark Week / Actually had sharks on it, as opposed to whatever mess Luxor had. Put in $100. No bonus, but a couple of nice line hits and features. Cashed out at $160+

    - 5 Dragons Rapid / Did my progressive betting but burned through $100, then another before hitting a lacklustre bonus. Cashed out at $.70 And moved on to...

    - LOTR/Rule Them All / Started the lowest bet ($1.50) to be eligible for both the Eye and Ring features. Hit the Eye spins 3 spins in, and retriggered spins plus multiple collected features, but had still only won like $2 til the last few spins. Did eventually finish with a $30 win. Played that back down to the $100 and looked around for my last choice of the night. Rick was ready to go home. So decided on the new Game of Life and fed in all my winning tickets. Totaled up to about $1375. Started playing at $3/max bet. Didn't really hit much and was down to about $1275. Rick walked up and I said "3 more spins", as I hit the button and finally landed the bonus. Was a slow start, but got interesting about halfway through. I did eventually reach Retirement Island, with a bonus total of $275.

So to summarize, walked in with $900, walked out with $1550 and the good folks at Fantasy Springs bought dinner !!! If I could do that 2x a week guaranteed, I could get by til I can start hitting those 401k/IRA funds without penalty... Ricks been on an up and down streak lately. He had some nice hits I saw on Rising Fortunes, Eureka Blast and Dragon Link. But he told he was down $200 For the night, which means $400

Rick took a pic of the Superwheel spin and I didn't realize it. Guess I was still betting $2.40 at that point.

Nice job! I also went to a local last night, but I got the more typical result of losing. Lol

Yeah, we went out again last night and I slowly gave back all the winnings. Still hanging onto the $900 I pulled out off the leftover Vegas bankroll from a few weeks back though.
