Gaining or Losing Weight in Holiday Season

    Hi All,
    It is getting close to holidays and extra eating times. I just wanted to help a bit and point out a few things that may be helpful. I'm not a Doctor and these things can be verified by google searches.

    Try to get a more alkaline bodily fluid composition. Most of us with our unhealthy diets have an acidic bodily fluid composition.
    When we are in that "acidic state" not only do we find it harder to lose weight, but we gain weight much easier.

    So what increases our PH bodily fluid level to be more alkaline? Well, Apple cider vinegar at 1 tablespoon mixed with 6 oz. of water 3x a day helps and even better 1/8 teaspoon Arm & Hammer baking soda in water 2x a day. this will help offset the acid brought in our bodies by sugar, sodium, red meat, and alcohol.

    Hope this helps. I lost 214 lbs. about 8 years ago and then gained it all back. Then about 3 to 4 years ago I did it again (another 202 lbs.) only with better tools. I'm now at 6'10" and 212 lbs.

    I had 45 years of obesity after I had been an All-American basketball player in college. I graduated and ballooned up. Being over 400 lbs. for decades hurt my health a lot. I'm paying for it now. I hope you don't have obesity problems that go unchecked. Best wishes, Willie..

    not gonna lie. for me this time of year has always been the hardest to try and maintain. it starts with football season and a Packers party every weekend. then the holidays get rolled into it all.. Halloween, Turkey day, Xmas, New Years, my birthday, football playoffs and ends with the Super Bowl... and Vegas in mid December...

    Thanks for the reminder Willie. I need to start back on the Apple Cider Vinegar/baking soda. My gut is a mess. Constant heart burn.

    I go into complete Bear mode this time of year, I can't stop eating!!! I try to cycle and walk as much as poss to counter all the stews, curries, roast dinners & other comfort food I shovel down me neck!!

    I was thinking about you and your husband the other day.... As you know as you are a nurse, we need to have our bodily fluid at an alkaline state at 7.3 to 7.4. When we are even a little overweight our bodily fluid PH level is acidic at below 7.0... The more overweight we are the lower our acidic level and lower our bodily PH level.
    This acidic fluid level correlates to increased inflammation in our arteries and our skeletal joints too. The more inflammation in our bodies the more problems we have. Inflammation hardens the plaque cholesterol in our arteries. Cholesterol is not bad until it hardens and lines and then blocks our arteries.
    Baking soda along with less sugar, less sodium, and much less red meat help raise our bodily PH to stop inflammation which adds to positive health and also lower blood pressure and promote meaningful weight loss. It is impossible to lose weight with our bodily fluids in an acidic state no matter how hard we try... You can get PH test strips at any pharmacy to test your PH level.

    Also there is something called "Chitosan".... It helps in so many ways …. It absorbs toxins in our intestines and blood and combines them in our stool and we put them out as stool waste. Chitosan is a derivative of shellfish.... Google health benefits of Chitosan and you'll be amazed. Google benefits of baking soda and google health benefits of an alkaline bodily fluid level and negatives of an acidic bodily state..
    Val,,,, get and take the Apple cider vinegar 2x a day, baking soda 1/8 teaspoon in water 2x a day and 1500 mg. of Chitosan 3x a day.... you will feel 100% better and your husband too.... Keep Vitamin D level up if your not in the sun often. best wishes, Willie...
