I decided to give Resorts World a try in late July. I stayed 4 nights in Crockfords. Resorts World lets you check in a day early via the Hilton app which also lets you choose your room. I chose a Strip View King on the 66th ( top) floor. A nice room with nice amenities and great view. Crockfords and Conrad share the same tower with Crockfords taking up the top 8 floors. Even though I had already checked in via the Hilton app I stopped by the front desk for a key since I seem to always have problems using the digital key via my iPhone.. This was a Sunday and It was about noon and I was the only one at the front desk. They are still working out some kinks as another guest in the elevator told me the electric curtains in his room would open and close on their own about every 5 minutes.

After dropping off my bag I hit the casino. The vib reminded me a little of what it was like the first time I stayed at the Cosmo 10 years ago when it was brand new. I started at the Dawg House, which is where the sports book is located. They have live music with 2 or 3 bars with video poker and the food menu is a selection of Hot Dogs( hence the name) they also have a walk up Faux food trailer serving Grilled Cheese sandwiches and a few other items. After an Old Fashioned and a Chili dog, and no luck at video poker, I headed to the main casino. I played a little Blackjack but all the tables are 6:5. However, something I had not experienced before is they offer you a ticket ( TITO) when you color up which saved me a trip to the cage. I next made my way to the bar in the high limit room they call Crockfords casino for video poker. This would be my go to for video poker the rest of the trip. The cocktails were great and the bartenders were generous with the comps. I had good luck over the next few days with about 6 or 7 hand pays. I thought that maybe the machines were a bit looser due to it being new but I even hit hand pays at Circa and Mandalay Bay this trip. In addition to the Dawg House I also tried Genting Palace, Wally's and Blood Bros. BBQ in the food court. My favorite was Genting Palace where I dined at the Bar. The food was great and the cocktails fantastic. I also enjoyed Breakfast/Brunch at Wally's and loved the Black Truffle Eggs.

All in all I enjoyed Resorts World and , although I'm still loyal to Cosmo, I look forward to returning.

After returning home I finally received my first offer, via the rwlv app, 3 nights in the Conrad with $100 food credit and $350 free play. Looks like a trip back for my Birthday next month.

Nice report! Interesting about the TITO color up. They seem to try to make things as automated as possible there from what I have read so far.

Definitely glad to hear. It's not my speed, personally, but I want it to be successful for sure.

And the more i think about it, it also ensures their RFID chips leave the table less often.

    Thanks for the TR!

Do you recall the games' payout tables and denominations in the high-limit video poker room?
